Awesome Innovative Coat
Very breathable and waterproof, haven't tested it out in cold weather yet so I can't comment on how warm it is. The fact that it can turn into a backpack is amazing, very handy for getting too warm on the mountain or avoiding holding your coat on you at the bar.

Great jacket
I gave it only 4 stars because I've only worn it twice; but great design, comfort and quality. Love the back pack feature

How can you make this jacket into a backpack, is there a video or website of some sort? Thank you
Dudich on Nov 4, 2014
Best Answer: Jack,
This is a great question. To be honest I had no idea Burton was making something like this. There is no pictures from Burton of this jacket in back pack mode... so I located a Warren snbd jacket. Right in the center of the back there is a zippered compartment that holds back pack straps. The compartment becomes (basically) a stuff sack for the jacket and maybe a hat and gloves. It is truly a unique idea in a great jacket. Note: that as a backpack it's capacity is small. I'll try to get a back pack picture up soon.

How warm is this coat? Does it have warm lining?
pamela on Dec 8, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Pam,
Frank makes a good point. This Burton Warren Jacket does have insulation, but not super heavy. Like may other snowboard jackets it is designed for high levels of activity and variable temperatures. For truly cold days you will want layers on too.
