A shopper asked: Is this a thick jacket or more like a shell? Also how is the fit on this jacket? Sometimes small is a little too big for me Nov 19, 2013

Dawn B: My son is 5"8" and 165 pounds. His jacket is a large. He has plenty of room to wear a shirt and sweatshirt underneath. He still has room to move around without feeling restricted, but it is not way too big. Being a little big is better than being too small especially to be able to do moves or even fall. (And if you're still growing) The coat is feels heavy but not thickly insulated or puffy. It's more like a shell, but not quite as thin as a shell. He loves it, it's awesome. Hope this helps. Nathan A: Really nice medium insulated jacket. It's definately not shell, but I wouldn't call it thick either. Nice jacket for the price. Only problems I have had are the zippers. The main zipper pull fell off and won't stay attached any longer (after about 1 month). Additionally, the pit zips ALWAYS get stuck in the mesh. Dec 2, 2013

Mark M: I got this jacket last year and it's not a shell but it is def very warm. I guess you could say it's a "thick" jacket. I would def recommend it to a snowboarder. I got mine an extra size up to make sure I have room for a hoodie and the hoodie fits great with the jacket. I would totally buy another one. Dec 2, 2013

Elizabeth B: Definitely not a thick jacket but keeps you warm. As for sizing, I remember working off the sizing chart on The House site which was helpful. Dec 2, 2013

Michael R: Definitely more of a shell. I think it fits great, right in line with the other jackets I have. Dec 2, 2013
