A shopper asked: Is this thing really Heavy//warm? i usually ride w a shell jacket, anything with insulation is usually too warm..wondering how hot this thing actually is Aug 1, 2013

BIANCA T: My husband wore this jacket all winter. He loves it. It's not too heavy & it kept him warm & with the armpit ventilation he could cool down if it got too hot, The only thing he doesn't like is that the hood strings get caught in the velcro, but that's the only negative thing he's said about it. Hope this helps! Aug 13, 2013

Ronald P: I purchased this same jacket at end of Feb. I only wore it once during a rain/windstorm. I was definitely dry and comfortable. The temp was not freezing only in the upper 40's . The shell is enough if you can always take layers off. Aug 12, 2013

Matt GStaff: The Burton Restricted Ratched Snowboard Jacket is pretty dang warm. It has 40 grams of Thermacore insulation, 10k mm of waterproof, and 5k g of breathability. All in all it will keep you dry, wick moisture, and keep you warm. Aug 10, 2013

Brandon M: It's very light insulation. The jacket isn't thick like most winter parkas. I Layer up. It makes a good shell. Aug 12, 2013
