Awesome Jacket
I really like my burton poacher jacket. I got the heathered gray color, it is really nice and expensive looking. The coat itself is really warm and windproof, i would say. It looks alot better in person then on the picture. It is a really nice and affordable buy, and you get all the girls too. So far, no ragrets...

Awesome Jacket!
Multiple pockets and very durable material. I would recommend this jacket to anyone. Sick design if you get the grey one.

Great jacket
Ski season hasn't started yet but I've had this jacket out for several hours during some nasty cold and wet nights. It feels comfortably thin and not bulky at all but is surprisingly warm. Very warm! While standing around (not active) with temps in the low 30s I was plenty warm with not much other than a flannel shirt on underneath. I'm looking forward to winter with this thing. It appears to be well made. It looks good and The House has a great price on it. Recommended!

For my son, I own a Burton coat myself, no matter how cold & hard the wind blows, I stay warm. It can pour rain, I stay dry (& warm)! Our family appreciates that and are now loyal Burton brand customers!

Looked like a good jacket. Based on the sizing chart I got a size too large. Returning and ordering smaller size.

what size should i get? i'm 5' 6" 160 lbs
A shopper on Mar 16, 2014
Best Answer: Probably XS, I'm 5'10 and normally like a loose fit, so I decided to get the large, but it was huge. I returned it for a Medium, which was still to large and am getting a Small. The sleeves are way to long and so is the jacket itself.

can I see a picture of this jacket on someone? trying to get a good picture that shows the true colors because a lot of different sites have pictures that make it hard to determine the true color.
Lisa D on Nov 22, 2013
Best Answer: Hi Lisa,

Check your email...I just sent you pictures of the Burton Poacher Snowboard Jacket in the Monoxide Norse King Print colorway.

What size should I get I'm 5'9" and 160 pounds (a little chubby) normally wear a large but burton runs big? Whatayall think?
A shopper on Nov 19, 2014
Best Answer: I personally have a large one and it fits me almost perfectily. I am 6'4" and 165lbs. I think it would mostly fit you comfortably, but the sleeves may be quite long. They cover all but my fingers relaxed. I actually like the longness to the sleeves, but I don't know your idea of how long you would like. If you just want to cover your wrist, don't get the large. Just sayin. It will be long. Lol. I used the coat all last season and love it a lot. I was worried that I would end up purchasing a to short of sleeve one(as is usually the case with me) but, as you mentioned, they run big, so I got it and it is nice.

I'm abit weary of using this website it doesn't seem legitimate. How can I be assured that my jacket will come to me if I pay since the prices are extremely low and seem a little to good to be true. ?
A shopper on Jun 7, 2014
Best Answer: I can assure you this website is creditable. I have purchased many items for this website and have received exactly what I bought. The House outdoor gear shop is a website for marked down gear of older year models and some new ones. I have bought jackets, pants, and even my snowboard from this site and they are all sitting in my closet right now. I love this site low prices for exactly what you want, can't beat it.

What size should I take if I am 165cm tall and 55 kg in weight?
Steven on Oct 1, 2014
Best Answer: Small should fit you good. That's about the same measurements as me and it fits good. I was worried that the medium will be to long because that's how there made.

If I am 165cm tall and weight 55kg, what size should I take?
A shopper on Oct 1, 2014
Best Answer: if you are 5 ft 4 inch, get a small or xs... Whatever size tshirt you wear, get that size. They make them alittle bigger to fit a hoodie and other clothes under the coat.

Thank you!

im 6'3" 205 lbs should i go with a xl or a large? trying to get it to last a few seasons
benmc on Nov 4, 2014
Best Answer: Ben,
Burton suggests that you would be best getting an XL in this situation. Note that you could exchange it if you decide the size is not right. http://www.the-house.com/helpdesk/returns-exchanges-backorders/

I'm worried about the size. Looking at the chart, i'm XL. Until now I used The North Face Jackets, and I'm Medium there. It cannot be possible that i'm 2 sizes larger... can someone please advise?
yairr on Oct 16, 2014
Best Answer: Hi,

This defiantly seems odd, and I promise to look into the inconsistency. Ok: North Face lists an M as 39"-41" chest size, and Burton lists an M at 38"-40" This is relatively comparable. Note the fit style of the jacket you are looking at too, this can effect the fit. I hope this helps,

-Tim

If your 6ft 4in. And have long arms what size should you get?
A shopper on Oct 16, 2013
Best Answer: I'm 6'4", 211.5 lb (I checked last night), and have a 44" chest. The size large Burton Poacher Snowboard Jacket fits well, but I like to have a lot of room for layering/movement so I think that the XL works better.

How does 5'6" fit the SMALL one? Will the back go down my ass, and the sleeves stretch over the entire gloves? Oh any I'm only 130lbs, bit of skinny.

I am 6' tall and approximately 200 lbs. Sometimes XL is too small and sometimes it's just right. Do you believe that the XL in this jacket runs big? Is it a Loose fit?

Would a medium jacket fit someone 5'8" 180lbs. I am not sure of chest size but I am guessing he is in the 38-40 range. I am worried if I get a large in this jacket it is going to be too long and too large in the chest?
