  • "Burton Jacket "

Pros: Very Warm, Cons: A bit bulky not for spring skiing,

Good quality jacket that fits a bit large for my average sized 6 year old. It is a bit bulky and is probably too warm for spring skiing.

  • "Solid Jacket"

Pros: warm, durable, Cons: torso is short,

Purchased it for my 3 year old. Upsized because of the torso length. Does not have the zip together function with burton pants.

Cindy H: Hi there! I think it really depends if your daughter also has long arms. I tried getting my 11 year old into an XL(14/16) in this same jacket, but the arms were too short, so I had to go with a women's XS! If that isn't the case, I'm sure the medium would work! Good luck! Dec 7, 2013

Kyle L: Diane,
That question is very hard for me since my daughter is a short and skinny 6 year old. The small jacket fits her nice. She really enjoy the jacket during our ski trip last year. Sorry I can't give you the perfect answer
