  • "Comfortable & Very Warm"

Pros: Very warm jacket, looks good, armpit vents, , fleece lined pockets keep your hands warm too, Cons: Not many features, no waist or wrist gaitors.,

Good for off the hill acitivities if the temp drops. I don't know if it's a great riding jacket since it has no waist or wrist gaitors to keep the snow out. It does have armpit vents though.

Yann P: It wil of course depend on the size, but it's not that bulky as far as an insulated snowboard jacket goes. It does remain a snowboard jacket though, and as such is naturally bulkier than a regular coat. Snowboard jackets also tend to run a little large, but this isn't quite as large as others (I'm 5'8 and the medium fits a more athletic build pretty well, but I would probably have to go with small with most other brands; if you don't like a loose fit, go with a smaller size even with this one). I've been in the snow for 3 days, and it's a very good and well insulated jacket so far. Dec 25, 2013

Richard T: I was skeptical that the jacket would be bulky as well, but the good news is, it's not! It's the perfect thickness, like a normal ski/snowboard jacket. Dec 21, 2013

Melanie H: not bulky at all, very comfortable. I'm 5'8" and 170lbs and got the large and it is a little big, but is what i wanted for boarding purposes. Dec 21, 2013

Caleb S asked: The customer review says this jacket doesn't have gaiters for jacket to pants connection, but the description says it does. Which one is correct? Nov 23, 2013

Matt GStaff: Hi Scott,The Burton Idiom Continuum Down Snowboard Jacket does have a snow-skirt/waist gaiter. The snow-skirt/waist gaiter is actually pretty cool and features 2 things I've never seen before; it has a rubberized material along the hem, much like that on the palm of a pipe glove, AND it has a drawcord hem cinch. The snow-skirt/waist gaiter drawcord hem cinch is pretty unique because instead of being within the hem tube the whole time, it has ringlets ever 6" or so where the drawcord shows through.

If you have pants that have snow-skirt/waist gaiter clasps/hooks the snow-skirt/waist gaiter on the jacket could be connected. Let me know if you need anything else.
