will this keep me warm in those midwest januaries?
IDOJumps on Dec 11, 2013
Best Answer: It's a thin jacket, I snowboard around Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and Utah and always take something to wear under. The Burton jacket is really nice but not exactly made for warmth.(jacket +sweater =perfect for me tho) on warmer days the jacket is great by itself. Hope this helps.

cannot tell the wormth of jacket??
A shopper on Dec 12, 2013
Best Answer: The Burton Faction Snowboard Jacket is warmer than a traditional technical shell because of the 40g of 3M Thinsulate Insulation. Combine that with critically taped seams and 10k mm / 10k g of waterproofing and breathable than this jacket it near unstoppable. If you need extra warmth, it'll always be a good idea to layer.
