Key Features of The Burton Insulated Element Boy's Snowboard Jacket:
This jacket is awesome - extremely tough and durable, well designed, well constructed, and good looking, too! We've had it for two seasons and it is still going strong - our second son will start wearing it soon, and I'm going to buy the next size up for the eldest. Great deal
Got this for my 9 yr-old son and it fit very well and keep him warm all through the snowboarding and going to school. One time we went snowboard in single digit temp with windchill under 0, and he was still warm on the lift with just one layer of fleece hoodie and a thermal base layer underneath
Purchased this for my 10yo son. I ride/wear Burton so I was glad to see that they carry their same level of quality in the kids version. Jacket is high quality, very warm and nice colors. Happy with the jacket and even happier with the price. We had a North Face ski jacket for last season and this was better quality at half the price!
I purchased this jacket for my son, as he was growing out of his old winter ski coat. He is 4'8", and the YL fits him perfectly, with room to grow for next season. His favorite features are the underarm vents, the Velcro cuffs (they cinch tight to keep out the snow), the deep pockets. I like that the coat is a nice red color so I can more easily spot him on the slopes. It is warm and roomy, for ease of movement.
Well, my brother got this jacket for Christmas, and there is nothing AMAZING about this jacket, but I don't see why it doesn't deserve 5 stars, I mean it does everything it's supposed to and comes with a pretty nice bandanna

Great jacket. My son loves the warmth and color combination. Because of his size, it is a bit big but the length is perfect. The sales assistant who helped me was right on the money. I highly recommend it.
What size for an average height 9 year old that's about 60 lbs?

Best Answer:Well my little girl was about 11yr old 4'5" and about 75 lbs when I purchased it. She's now 4'9" and 90 lbs and still boarding in it.I'm sure this is the last year. size 10/12 large.. Hope that helps.
The color on this Burton jacket is called "true red", but the picture looks like 2 shades of a dark pink. Is this jacket red or pink?
A shopper on Jan 8, 2014
Best Answer:The bottom part of the jacket is true red, the top color is more maroon and took me a little while to get used to because I wouldn't normally put the two colors together.. There is no pink. There is a little patch of plaid on the back. This is an awesome jacket....my son snowboards twice a week up here in northern maine along with all the other crazy stuff 10 year old boys do and he's starting his second winter in it and it barely shows wear. He is kept warm while wearing it ...even snowboarding last saturday when the temp. was around 0 degrees. Highly recommend this jacket.
I bought this for my now 7yr old boy, he loves it! It keeps him warm, dry and it matches his board and boots. The color depicted does look light red-pink, but it is a fire engine and brick red. It will need some re-treatment to keep it water repellent after every few uses, but well worth it!
No, the coat is definately red on red. My daughter wears this coat and I was actually hoping it was a little more pink. But she still likes the jacket and my son has the black one. Both say it keeps them warm..
MY daughter is 58" tall and 78 lbs what size in this jacket?

Best Answer:If you haven't already, take a second to look at the Sizing & Fit link that is located above the green Add to Cart button. The sizing chart will help you select the Burton Element Insulated Snowboard Jacket size you need with your specific measurements.
I bought S in red for a 7 year old boy who is about 56lbs. It was a bit big on him. It still fits this season and is a great fit. He liked the face mask and the inner snow skirt. He didn't complain about the weather. So I guess he was warm.
This coat is offered in "husky" sizes, but I didn't see that in the sizing. My daughter is actually quite slim. How will medium "husky" fit? (It's the only size in stock and she tends to like baggy over fitted anyway)

Best Answer:With the Husky in the Burton Element Insulated Snowboard Jacket, it is the same length as typical in its specific size with about 2 inches extra in shoulders and chest- for the stockier body type. Thanks!
Hello, I'm trying to find the right size for my daughter. She is 8 years old and has a 61cm chest. (24inches) going by your size guide she should be an XS which is down as a 3/4 yr old? Is this right or should she be a M? Thanks
