    Toasty Warm
I bought this jacket to look stylish on the slopes but ended up using it all winter long. I've taken this coat trekking in Appalachia, ice fishing in Minnesota, and everywhere in-between. Assuming you wear a light layer underneath you'll be prepared for just about any winter adventure.

    Top Notch
This jacket is like being wrapped in a satin robe that you can wear on the slopes. Silky on the inside, durable on the outside. Nice and toasty warm with a great style. This jacket is top notch!

Hi, I really want to get this jacket but im usually a medium. Would a large be overly big and baggy? Im 5'10 and about 170 lbs. THANKS!
    Mathias G on Jan 26, 2014
Best Answer: Mathias - your question seems to have fallen through the cracks...sorry about that. I would suggest that you order a medium - maybe you already did.

I noticed that there is a zip iniside the jacket on the botton. What is it for?
Rico Snow on Jul 22, 2014
    Best Answer: Hey,

The zipper is an interface that works with compatible Burton pants. The jacket can zip to Burton pants that have the interface as well. However, like the 2010 jacket that you have purchased, the pants must be 2009 or 2010 to also have this coordinating feature.

I Got this jacket in medium, but the sleeves cover my entire hands, not even partial. I'm usually a medium in clothes. I'm 5'7 and 140 lbs. The jacket feels big too. Would I be better off in a small?
    Mike T on Dec 22, 2014
    Best Answer: Hi Mike,
Many people feel that Burton's jackets fit a little big, not usually huge. I apologize. I am almost the exact same size and weight, and just tried a small.... it fits well, though a little more slim. You are able to exchange if you wish.

what is that weird sholder strap on this burton jacket?
    A shopper on Dec 24, 2014
Best Answer: The shoulder strap on the Burton Captain Tripps Snowboard Jacket is strictly for aesthetics. It gives the jacket the military look Burton was going for. Very stylish.

I measure 42" at the chest, 6' tall, and weigh 210 lb. Should I order the L or XL size? I'll be skiing in 15-25 degree fahrenheit weather and might need a layer or two under it.
    Kyle v on Jan 7, 2015
    Best Answer: Hi Kyle,
My experience with Burton Jackets are that they fit a little big. This jacket also uses the TWC Sig Fit which allows for layers underneath without getting too tight. As a result, I would get the L. Sig Fit: "Shaun White’s take on a roomier fit rides the line between a regular and more relaxed style fit, reducing extra space but still leaving plenty of room for First Layer® and mid-layers to fit comfortably underneath."

I measure 39" and 5'6, weight about 170lb. Would a Medium fit me or I should look for a L?
    Jon L on Dec 3, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Jonathan! According to Burton's size chart, you will come in just at the end of the medium size. I also think that a large would fit you however.

I'm 175lbs and 5'6" and i usually wear a medium but I was thinking of buying a larger. Should I?
    Camilo L on Nov 24, 2015
    Best Answer: Hi,
I believe for this Captain Tripps Jacket you will want an 'M' size still.
