Description: Burton Captain Tripps Snowboard Jacket
The Burton Captain Tripps snowboard jacket has a 10,000mm waterproof, 2-layer, DRYRIDE Durashell outer for superb protection from the elements. The TWC sig fit is roomy without getting in the way, and Thermacore insulation throughout makes the inside warm and comfy. Quilted satin lining is extra luxurious, and the mesh lined pit zips improve airflow when conditions warm up. The removable faux fur hood trim avoids any misunderstandings with PETA. Get Burton quality and all day comfort with the Captain Tripps snowboard jacket.

The zipper is an interface that works with compatible Burton pants. The jacket can zip to Burton pants that have the interface as well. However, like the 2010 jacket that you have purchased, the pants must be 2009 or 2010 to also have this coordinating feature.
My experience with Burton Jackets are that they fit a little big. This jacket also uses the TWC Sig Fit which allows for layers underneath without getting too tight. As a result, I would get the L. Sig Fit: "Shaun White’s take on a roomier fit rides the line between a regular and more relaxed style fit, reducing extra space but still leaving plenty of room for First Layer® and mid-layers to fit comfortably underneath."
Many people feel that Burton's jackets fit a little big, not usually huge. I apologize. I am almost the exact same size and weight, and just tried a small.... it fits well, though a little more slim. You are able to exchange if you wish.
