"Dry and warm"
Pros: Very water and windproof, zips into pants, great style Cons: not enough pockets, fixed hood, expensive at full priceThis is my favorite snowboard jacket. When zipped into the Static pants, it's just about perfect, even on the worst blizzard. Layered properly with fleece underneath it keeps me warm and dry all day.

"So dry, its pretty sweet"
Pros: waterproof, zips to pants, keeps heat in Cons: need a really good insulator, neck a bit tight,Its a prett awesomee jacket, I purchased during a mega deal and bought it for 80$ but I wouldnèt have bought it at full price, only cause I have to buy another insulator jacket cause theres no liner whatsoever. It really is just the shell, good for springtime. I wear it as a raincoat in the rain so its pretty good for that. Stay dry no matter what, thats a huge plus.

"Dry as a feather"
Pros: Highly waterproof, Allows layering underneath due to loose fit, Nice tech features on hood and pockets Cons: Material is stiffer than normal fabrics, Isn't warm enough by itself for cold days, No mesh at ventsI am 5'2'' and 120 lbs, but I also wear full-body armor, so the medium size fits me well. The fabric is stiffer than conventional snowboard jacket fabrics, but you get used to it quickly. I zip the jacket to my Burton pants and enjoy having a dry butt at the end of the day. Awesome quality product.

"PERFECT!"
Pros: Lightweight, Dry and Warm, Sleek Cons: Glittery Zipper,I literally FREEZE no matter how many layers I have on, so I am beyond stoked at how warm this jacket keeps me while boarding. I pair it with a medium weight base layer and light weight fleece from the North Face and stay nice and toasty, sometimes even having to remove the fleece because I get so warm. Very water resistant and stays dry. I bought it in black and it looks very sleek and simple. My only complaint is the glittery zipper, which I guess isn't too noticeable...just not my taste I guess. Besides that, this is an excellent jacket. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and I can't wait to use it again in the upcoming winter season!

I pair it with a medium weight base layer and light weight fleece from the North Face and stay nice and toasty, sometimes even having to remove the fleece because I get so warm. Very water resistant and stays dry. It's also very versatile because it's so lightweight; add some good base layers for extra warmth, or without on warmer days. "Wouldn't pay full $$ but LUV it!"
Pros: Sexy, Waterproof, Cons: Arms are too long, Neck is to tight,I'm 5ft 110lbs and I got the XS in the green and black lines for at least 50% off. The arms are a little long but it works well with my mitts. The problem I have is on cold days when I have to layer I find the neck to be very tight. Other than that I love how heavy duty the zippers are and how it zips across the chest. I've worn it in a heavy down pour and stayed perfectly dry. I have had many compliments, it's a really cute coat! All and all great jacket, keep up the good work Burton!

"Great Jacket"
Pros: Loaded with Features, Great details throughout jacket, Top Notch Gore Tex Fabric Cons: Waterproof Zipper, tough to zip, Sparkles on some of the details,Great jacket for the money. Burton's top of the line jacket, and it shows through out the jacket. Fits great, not to heavy, simple highend jacket. Great for west coast down pours. Simple design can be worn around town, without looking like you came off the mountain.

"nice jacket"
Pros: waterproof, windproof, lightweight Cons:So far, I've mainly used this jacket in spring/warmer conditions, and really love it. It is waterproof, and has kept me totally dry in slush and light rain. I usually prefer an insulated jacket for colder days, but wore this on what turned out to be an overcast, chilly, and very windy spring day by accident, and actually stayed decently warm on the lift since the jacket really blocked out the wind. I also like the fact that it's light and easy to pack for a trip. Mine did come with a small manufacturing defect so the zipper tends to catch the fabric at a specific place easily and gets stuck sometimes, but it isn't a big problem as long as I'm careful. I probably wouldn't pay full-price for this jacket, but on sale, it's definitely a great buy.

"great jacket for great price"
Pros: Gore-tex, price, Cons: zipper little bt stiff,I just got this jacket and im going to try it tmrw at Heavenly but i can say already it was great deal. Altough i found a zipper little to stiff which make me look fat:) and creates some kind of waves but i still love it. And i love the fact that you can zip it together with Burton pants. Now im ready for fresh powder...

"Pretty good"
Pros: gore-tex keeps you dry all day, light so you can layer underneath, cyan looks good Cons: no mesh lined side vents, too expensive unless you get it from sierra sale, could use more pocketsI bought this for my girlfriend along with the Static 3L pants. The only issue I have with these, is that they do not have mesh lined side vents. These retail for $450, over 100 more than my AK Cyclic which have meshed lined vents. What's the deal? Other than that, I've heard no complaints from the girlfriend about them. She loves the zipper interface between the pants/jacket, which keeps her from getting snow down her back.

"Nice and DRY!!! SNOW DOESN'T STICK"
Pros: Kept gf dry all day, Cons: not insulated,The first day my gf used this jacket she ended up staying dry above her waist and well get ice down her pants. After the first day my gf went home and actually looked at all the features this jacket has. When we went out the second day my used the added features to keep the snow out of her pants. She does not have burton pants so she didnt zip the jacket to the pants, but the jacket has buttons that can connect to belt loops as well as elastic that makes a good seal. I dont feel that I am doing justice in explaining this, pm me if your confused and I will see if I can get some photos. OK now as far as this jacket goes it is thin so you are able to move around well as well as put some good layers inside to keep you warm. I would love to get one of these for myself because NO snow sticks to the jacket no matter how long she layed in the snow.

"AK Love It"
Pros: Lightweight, Great simple colour, perfect to layer under Cons: not enough pockets, a little too long,Love these pants - couldn't take them off for the whole 10 days I was in Japan. Good thing with them is also that when you are travelling they are OK to walk around in as Apres wear. I was definitely warm and dry all day long and when sitting on the snow for any period of time I did not feel any dampness or cold through the pants. Washed them in Nikwax when I got home and they look like new. Hooked on AK now

"Burton AK Static 3L womens jacket"
Pros: Waterproof, Breathable, Windproof Cons: Could do with more pockets,My girlfriend is 155 cm, 105 lbs and average built. She normal wears size S and the size S fits her very well. She used this jacket on a ski trip in Niseko, Japan. Temp ranged from -5 to -10 degrees C. She layered the AK Static 3L with a base layer, cashmere top and a Tatonka fleece. This was just right for her. I see a lot of reviewers lament that there is no insulation on this jacket. I don't think it's suppose to (there is the AK Rotor and others for insulated jackets). The AK Static 3L is supposed to be a bombproof shell and it is. It stayed dry through 6 days of almost constant snow. The jacket was also windproof. By virtue of having 3 layers, it's stiffer than a AK 2L but the difference is minimal. My girlfriend found movement in the jacket excellent. My girlfriend swears by this jacket and even went jogging in it at 15 to 22 degrees C temps and found it very breathable (though she is not a big sweater). She has put it through significant use and jacket has shown no signs of wear. The one downside to the jacket is that it only has one external breast pocket.

"Nice and Dry"
Pros: Goretex keep you dry, Great price on sale at Sierra, Cons: Not insulated, Hood doesn't zip off,Got this jacket because I'm a beginner and planned on being laid out on the snow alot so I wanted something that would keep me dry, this does a fabulous job! It's not insulated so you definitely need to layer if it's cold temps, which I had room to do while ordering my normal size. The collar is comfortable and looks good zipped partially down or all the way up for those chilly days! Very happy with this jacket and the great deal I got here!
-
"warm as you make it"
Pros: stylish, non-centered zipper, pockets Cons: no wrist gaters, thin,This jacket is supposed to be one of the warmest on the market for a non-puffy... but what I found was that what it really does is keeps my body heat IN. When I first walk outside I immediately feel the cold and the INCREDIBLY thin jacket doesn't feel like it's going to do much for me... only once I really start moving do I realize how warm this jacket is-- it seems like it's just not very breathable...so it does get VERY hot!

"Ill shell but not cut for frigid temps"
Pros: 3l Goretex, Great Price at Sierra!, Cons: Too expensive at full price,This jacket should be ordered a size up if you are going to be riding in frigid temps so you can throw on some warm layers. We sent it back for an insulated one we live in North East VT.
