Description: Burton Viking Snowboard Boots

There is plenty of controversy over who discovered snowboarding, but let us be honest, it was the Viking.

Burton's classic all-terrain slayer gets 21st century tech with Speed Zone™ Lock N' Load Lacing for secure heel hold, plus the customizable feel of traditional laces at the cuff and forefoot. Burton's exclusive Infinite Ride™ liner will not break down or pack out and is equipped with DRYRIDE Heat Cycle™, a thermally-activated carbon thread that captures and radiates body heat inward while wicking away heat-robbing sweat. Underfoot, ReBounce, another industry-first, brings cushioning closer to your foot than ever before while simultaneously reflecting body heat to keep warmth and cushioning consistent.

Key Features of Burton Viking Snowboard Boots:
  • Shrinkage Footprint Reduction Technology
  • Lacing: Traditional with Speed Zone Lock N' Load
  • Liner: Infinite Ride 4 Liner with DRYRIDE Heat Cycle Lining, Tuff Cuff, DRYRIDE Moisture Wicking Tech, and Rad Pad
  • Cushioning: Vibram EcoStep Rubber Outsole [30% Recycled] with Rubber Ice Spikes, Low-Profile EST Optimized Midsole with B3 Gel, and ReBounce Cushioning with Sleeping Bag Reflective Foil
  • Flex and Response: Firm Flex PowerUP Tongue and GripLITE Backstay
  • Comfort: Total Comfort Construction, Snow-Proof Internal Gusset, and Level 2 Molded EVA Footbed with ESS Support Shank and Aegis Antimicrobial Coating

Viking boots
These are good boots but probally overkill for park and ski resort riding.
They have too many lock done points and require a long time to get on and tightened up. They would be excellent for back country and helicopter runs.
If you want them for those kind of runs you will be stoked. Excellent quality as always provided by Burton. Burton is all I buy and I have never been let done with the quality. If you want to ride park and resorts I would suggest Burton Invader or Ramparts. I have both of these and can get them on and off quickly and be heading down hill before I get finished with one of the Vikings. They will cost you less also.

Have a size 10 in the 2015 burton Viking boot?

BEST ANSWER: Hi not sure of the question?
He has a size 10?
I have a size 11. I wear a size 10 shoe but prefer 1 size larger for snowboard boots. Burton boot run consistent this way for me.
If I currently have snowboard shoe size 10.5, should I get a size 11.5 viking boot?

BEST ANSWER: Good Day,
No. I would not think that a full size up would be the best choice here. Burton's stuff fits pretty true to the posted size. Maybe the 11 is a better choice. Remember that a Snowboard boot will fit a bit tight until you break it in.
