joseph l: I Haven't had any issues so far. I have nothing but good things to say about these boots. great support and flex, easy to get in and out of, keeps your feet dry in fresh powder. As far as the odor I'll have to wait and see the next couple times I go out. As of right now I would have to say I these boots are great and have no regrets purchasing them. Dec 23, 2013

Jason B: I've used this boot for one full season and into a second, and so far this boot appears to be impermeable to moisture. My feet stay 100% dry all day. I have also not noticed any abnormal odor buildup. I am very satisfied with this product, and just yesterday had a friend and longtime snowboarder compliment the boots on style and weight. Justin H: I used these quite heavily for one season so far and my socks have never gotten wet. To answer your second question I may need to use them for another season but they don't smell bad yet. they don't smell like roses but what shoe does when wearing them outside while doing physical activities? sean l: I have these and they're like any other boots I've ever had. I sprayed them with Nikwax spray to waterproof them and they stay pretty dry. i will say that they feel softer than they are rated for. Mine feel more like a park boot than an all mountain. Dec 23, 2013

Gonzalo B: I have used them for 2 seasons and there is no smell.
It seems they do keep away the moisture.
Make sure you buy the right size. I bought 29,5 and they are bit too tight..

R F asked: What year is this model Raptor? May 16, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
T. PearceStaff: You are correct sir!

These are the 2012 Burton Raptor model. I wouldn't really be too concerned with the year though because this is still loaded with tech including the heat moldable liner, speed lace system, and the DynoLite EST Optimized Outsole with B3 Gel Cushioning. All for a ridiculous cheap price.

Hope this helps!

Dolby: It was the last raptor. You can find older years still on eBay . I bought two of this model and would a third but I had difficulty finding size. Best guess 2012/13 season. :-)
