Sizing and velcro straps
Cool boots and glad Burton is trying to cater to the little guys, but unless your kid has toothpick legs go a lot bigger on size. Just got 8K for my 20month old son that wears a size 6 shoe. He is pretty normal size for his age. Velcro on upper straps won't even touch and bottom not enough to hold.

Great boots
My son loves these. He wants to wear them even when not snowboarding. They are easy to get on and off.

Our rental shop has never carried a snowboard boot under a size 1 and we have seen an increased interest in the younger generation wanting to attempt the sport.

Hi, looking to pick up a pair of these for my son. He is 16 months old, would be 18 months by the time he is wearing them. Currently he wears size 5 sneakers. I am confused as to how the sizing works for these? What size should I get for him?

BEST ANSWER: Hi,
The smallsest snowboard boots are usually a 7K as here. For kids that little, they can ride with standard boots.
Is 8K the same as men's 8?

BEST ANSWER: i bought 12c size for my 5 years old that typically wears size 10 regular shoes and are perfect, meaning snug at ankle and extra room at foot for thick socks.
My son wear a size 6 toddler shoe. How does that convert to a Burton snowboard boot size ? I didn't get anything from the answer of the other question on here.

BEST ANSWER: You would want a 6K, the K is for toddler sizes. I have a 5 year old that wears an 11 toddler size. I ordered the 12k just to make sure I had room for thick socks and to maybe get use out of them for 2 seasons. They fit great, a little big but you can get them really tight with the straps. I really like these boots, I wish they had adult sizes.
