I'm a beginner rider (2nd season in), and use these boots in combination with a K2 board and Ride LX bindings, which seems to work very well for me. The boots are pretty stiff/supportive, which helps prevent me from catching edges too easily and helps stay balanced on the toe-edge. I bought my boots one size up from what I normally wear and they fit snugly with thick socks and don't cut off the circulation to my toes. The boots are warm and fairly comfortable, though their stiffness can hurt after a few hours of riding. The lacing system took me a minute to figure out, but seems to work well and takes a few hours before needing re-tightening. Overall a great buy for my first boots!
The shoes are really good quality. When I received them, I thought they were too small because they were really tight. But after 3 times wearing them, they are very comfortable. But the laces cover is a little broken now, I am afraid it will brake later
We're not 'seasoned' riders, we go a couple times a year, and just moved to vermont, so we decided to buy all our own gear for xmas this year, since we'll now be going a lot more! we got these for a crazy low price so we figured that we'd give em a shot. she loves them, loves the color and style, only thing we take a star off for is that the lace system is a boa style (but not exactly a boa); you don't have to tie the laces, but they have some kind of crazy pull-tight system. this system is great, but the left boot always gives her some kind of trouble when trying to get them off, like it won't loosen. that's the only reason it's not a 5-star review.
Best Answer:yeah, I bought these because my old boots melted by a heater.... and needed a quick buy for some end of the season powder. These are comfortable, sturdy, and have great support. I actually went into the park and the woods with these which is something I hadn't done before buying them. Absolutely recommend for all experience levels :)
Best Answer:Hi I´m looking for firs snowboarding boots, I tried the Chloe model in a 8.5 size and it fixed perfect, as people said that the locked system is not so perfect I´m looking for a symilar boot as that one. So If I´m goin to buy by internet without trying them on I want to know if in this boots or a Coco-Bootique model the size 8.5 are going to be rigth and fix similar as the chloe once.
Hi! I bought my wife boots last year. We tried some on at a local sports store to see how they would fit. Burton boots run about a half size smaller, so I recommend sizing up at least a half size. My wife really likes them. Hope yours does, too!
You probably want to get a boot with laces instead. You can tie them like a shoe and they are less complicated. I'm not sure what size she is but burton boots usually run true to size maybe give a half size for extra socks. Hope this helps
