"Very kid-friendly"
Pros: Easy for kids to put on, Velcro system holds foot in tight,
Cons: None,
Great little boot for little shredders. They can easily put their own boot on as the velcro system is very easy to manage.
The velcro holds very tight and has never come loose while riding down a hill.

Pros: non laces,
Cons: came off feet fairly easy, non laces,
bought theses for all my kids, the same problem occured with all them. Their feet would slip out of the boot fairly easy. i actually broke a strap tring to tightrn them. they were recomended to us for them and they even measured their little feet. I wil stick to laces this coming yr for them.

"Burton Grom Youth"
Pros: Easy on / off, Kids can do it themselves,
Cons:
I bought a pair of these for each of my daughters, their first year of snowboarding. The girls say they're comfortable. They have no problems putting them on and taking them off, the velcro straps make it easy. They can tie shoes, but probably wouldn't get the laces as tight as they should be, so at least for younger kids go with the velcro. They have a little loop down on the bottom of the boot for clipping the strap onto, again, easy for the kids to do this themselves.
I actually didn't buy them, by getting them local I was able to make sure the sizing was right (I actually had to return one pair for this reason, easier than shipping back) You could check sizing at your local shop and then purchase if you're not worried about losing too much Karma. Price is good, keep in mind for kids they'll only be wearing them one season. I'm happy with the purchase.

"Easy and comfy"
Pros: Velcro is great,
Cons: None,
Got these boots for my 5 yr old son who's just starting to learn how to snowboard. Have not put them with bindings yet but was able to use them to stand on the footpads on the Burton Chopper and using the riglet to pull him around. The velcro makes it really easy to get in and out, and there was no complaints about comfortability. It was just as easy for him to trek around in snow with these boots than his regular Sorel snow boots. He's a size 10-11 and had no problem fitting into a size 12 with a thick pair of Burton snowboard socks.

"nice/basic"
Pros: Easy On/Easy Off, Soft,
Cons: Very Soft,
Great boots for getting your kids on the snow. The velcro makes getting the boots on and off a cinch. The snowboard specific boots fit the bindings much better than generic snowboots. My daughter's foot is tiny, we originally bought the smallest size, 11c but they were a bit too small. Don't worry if the boot is too big for their little feet - you can crank the velcro down along with the bindings. It'll work.
