Description: Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots - Womens

Shine on the hill with the Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots for women, a supportive, responsive and versatile all-mountain boot that is geared for park play or groomer cruisin'. Rigid yet flexible, the Emerald is designed with a zonal lacing system to tighten down the upper and lower zones independently so you can manage the level of lock-down. And with a medium-flex PowerUp Tongue and Power Spine Backstay, the boots are stiff enough for extra force in turns but still plenty maneuverable and pliable. The removable liner features 3M Thinsulate insulation and reflective foil for keeping you toasty during deep-winter sessions and the lightweight, low-profile outsole is constructed with B3 Gel for all-day comfort.

Key Features of The Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots:
  • Medium Flex Thin Profile 3D Molded Tongue
  • Power Spine Backstays
  • Speed Zone Lacing
  • 270 Degree Airbag Cushioning
  • Imprint 2/ Women's Imprint 2
  • Support: 5
  • Level 1 Molded EVA Footbed
  • Lightweight Outsole
  • True Zonal Lacing Control

"Good boots, need breaking in"
Overall this boot is pretty comfortable and I liked the stiffness. They fit well and from day one have never given me blisters or soreness

Okay Boot
I'm partial to these boots. The sizing is weird I own a pair of Burton SI in a 6 and had to go up to a 7.5 in these. They are pretty stiff and walking around in the hut and up stairs is a little difficult. But they keep my feet dry and warm.

BEST ANSWER: These Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots are from 2010.
i am an experienced all mountain rider (non groomers), and need a new pair of boots. I see these emeralds are from 2010. I have not done much research, will these be stiff enough for me, or do you recommend something else?

BEST ANSWER: Hi!
They will be a decently stiff boot actually. Though these were solid boots for their time.... the advantage of newer Burton Emerald boots is that they will have a better liner and be a little less bulky. http://www.the-house.com/search.html?keywords=Burton+Emerald
