Description

Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots Tan/Mocha
With a little more support than the Sapphire, the Emerald is a fashion-forward, all-around boot for riders who want lightweight comfort, mid-range support and standout style. In 2006, the Emerald got some TLC in the tech department and now features the Speed Zone lacing system so you can independently adjust the upper and lower portion of the boot. For ladies who love to coordinate, the Emerald's vine print pattern looks super tight with the Lexa binding and Troop board.

Key Features of the Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots:
  • Speed Zone Lacing System for True Zonal Lacing Control
  • Custom Textile and Synthetic Leather Shell
  • 3D Molded Tongue
  • 3-Part Cut-and-Buff Outsole with EVA Cushioning
  • NEW Imprint 2 Liner with PE Energy Panels
  • Discontinued Colors

  • Emerald

    • "Lacing system didn't work for me"

      , Coquitlam, BC
Pros: Look nice, Cons: Sore feet and ankles.,

I didn't get on with these boots, they were the first boots I ever bought and I used to get real bad foot pain. If I wore them loose I got loads of heal lift and if I wore them tight I got really bad pain from my knee down after one run. I just couldn't get used to them. The lace system just didn't work for me. I actually sold them to a friend and got a new pair. I went Burton again but this time I went with normal laces and never had foot pain again. There's lots a great comments on these boots and the lace system so I'm sure they just weren't right for me. It's a shame because they look great.
