John G: It won't let me attach a photo, but there is about a 1/4 in thick piece of the footbed that goes vertical at the toes. You can trim this off as they need more room. As a snowboarder for the last 24 years, I would tell you to buy a little big and wear thick socks...you can always wear a thinner sock to give more room. Plus, if you are buying for a little guy like my 4 yr old son, their feet may outgrow the boots quickly. Enjoy your winter, we will be.

Roy MStaff: The room-to-grow technology found in the Burton Darth Vader Grom Snowboard Boot is technology will revolutionize youth boots. Your boot will come with two insoles already inserted, and once your kid's foot has reached the limit of the initial fit, you simply have to remove the first sole. The second sole will already be in place and will be ready to provide an additional size of comfort for your foot. Oct 8, 2013

John G: Essentially my sons boots are a size 12 boot with removable padding at the toe. The padding reduces the boot size to 11. Oct 8, 2013

A shopper asked: I'm looking for a pair of snowboard boots for my two year old son. Unfortunately, the only boot that may have fit were the RIDE Norris Boa's, which are completely sold out. In addition, I have no idea how the youth sizing scale works...13k, 12k, 11k, 1, 2, 3, etc? What would be the best boot size for a two year old?? Feb 8, 2014
