Love these bindings
I bought these bindings at the end of last year and have been extremely happy with them. They are really responsive without having to crank them really tight around your foot. The toe strap can be worn as a cap or across the top of the foot for versatility. They absorb landings really well too. The only complaint I have is that the metal decal around the bottom has lifted up and broken off in a few places, but it doesn't impact the binding performance so I still think these are an excellent purchase

Escapade
Bought these for my girlfriend and she loves them. Said that they are the most comfy bindings that she has ever worn and flex just right. Not to soft but not to stiff. Burton has made a great womens binding.

Best women's bindings on the market
I own two pairs of these bindings. One pair on my all mountain board (Salomon Burner), the other on my Burton Fish. These bindings simply rock, they enable me to have a great surfy feeling in the powder, but still let me charge on-piste. If you're an agressive, experienced rider of the female sex, you can't buy a better binding than the Escapade

Great Bindings
These bindings are great! They are ready for anything. They are great for carving, and the extra padding is great for taking jumps. I have a size 8 Burton boot and got the large bindings. The fit is perfect-I've never had any problems with slipping side to side. The one problem that I have had is that after a season of use, some of the padding is tearing and I can't get the bindings as tight as I used to be able to

Awesome but gets loose at times
My first ever bindings as reviews highly recommended it. However, I was a tad bit disappointed by it when I took it up to the snow on the weekend. Yes it is a very stiff and responsive binding. The strap is a toe cap but when I strap it down at my toe ends, it loosens up almost straight away once I hit the slopes. My friend who owns the exact same bindings didn't have that problem though. So maybe it's a hit or miss? I'm a 37uk and the M bindings fit just right. I got the black ones and the graphics ain't as good as the image, but didn't really bother me as much. For the price in relative to the other bindings, I expected a much better one

My wife has these bindings and Loves them. They seem like a carbon copy of the cartels, and seem to ride the same too. The straps are really comfortable and the ratchets are super super durable. For the money these are the only bindings worth getting

"I second everyones review, GREAT BINDING"
This is a great binding at a great price, the best online snowboard shop hands down! I got this binding for my wife and she loves it.... simple, comfortable, Burton Straps and Burton Quality. Need I say more

great responsive bindings
I've been using a cheapy binding from a snowboard package I got 6 years ago and I never realized how big a difference bindings could make. I strapped into these (really smooth ratchets) and started carving - LIKE A DREAM. The board was so responsive and I felt I had more control at higher speeds. The only thing I'd recommend about burton bindings is that you size up. I got a size large for my size 6.5-7 feet/boot and it fits perfectly. I bought a size medium burton citizen before to try it out but it was too narrow/small for my boot even though the size chart said it would've fit perfectly for a size 7 boot (i have a burton size 7 boot btw). So yeah, dunno what's up with the funky sizing charts but THESE BINDINGS ARE AWESOME

Escape with Escapade
I bought these for a friend. She was struggling a bit at the start but in the end when she became better she loved the bindings. The bindings aren't as forgiving for a beginner ride but once you get used to these they simply rock. She was shredding it down the slope in no time. I took her to the park and it seemed a tad difficult. Don't know if it was her or the bindings but it looked like the bindings work well in a park. Still, these bindings are wicked on the mountain for all terrain riding. Highly recommended

Escapades Rock
These bindings are great. I have had them for 2 seasons and ride about 50 days a season. They are pretty stiff, so they aren't great for park, but for all mountain they are solid

Solid
My only gripe with these is the highback adjuster, that little twisty screw device. I find it hard to adjust quickly and kind of worthless. More of a personal thing, though, which is why I still gave them 5 stars. I got the blackwidow ones, which are really subtle and don't have much glam on them. If you are like me and don't like the sparkly pink stuff, this color should be ok for you. These are basically the Cartel bindings, so any reviews you read for those should carry over. Really nice fit and finish, I LOVE the straps

Just awesome!!
I have 2 pairs of these now & I just love 'em! I wear medium bindings with size 7 burton boots and they fit like a glove. A little stiff when brand new but once broken in they're super responsive, I've ridden them on a couple of different boards and I feel like I'm really connected to the board. Highly recommended, I'm gonna ride these til they fall apart then probably buy another pair

Great Bindings!
I got a complete new snowboard setup after finally learning how to carve and decided to dish out money for the Escapades. Escapades are considered Advanced/Expert bindings and they are extremely great! For the progressing snowboarder that wants to try and hit the park or do tricks, the bindings really do the trick on making you flow with your board. The toe straps make the flex great and there's a really great pad over the strap that fits to your boot well. However, I'm a 7.5 Burton Boot and I bought a size L bindings. L is for sizes 8+ but I really feel that a 7 could fit these bindings fine. In fact, I can't imagine having medium bindings. My bindings before were crap so upgrade to these Burtons was the best choice I got!

Making Turns
I bought my little sister these bindings to throw on her new board after her old bindings simply fell to pieces. Her skill level and confidence was completely improved as soon as she strapped in. These are super durable bindings, with a great look. Not only that, but the cushioning under foot really dampens vibrations and keeps her out there longer. All the usual complaints of discomfort and fatigue disappeared with the installation of these bindings

Best Women's Binding Period
Bought this binding for my wife last year. She was riding a Ride Team binding before and as soon as she tried on the Burton Escapade she noticed the difference right away. No more numb toes because of the cap strap. Soft and cushy feeling. Now she is not a great boarder but because of the plush and comfortable feel it gave her more confidence and helped her improve her skills alot last year. Now this is a review from my wife's point of view obviously I never rode it mysef but from the progression she made last year I think this was the best money I spent on her for snowboarding gear. Well worth it.

A huge upgrade from my old bindings!
The last pair of bindings I bought were in 2001 so these were definitely an upgrade. I had never tried toe-cap bindings until these and after two days of boarding through various conditions of powder, groomed runs, trees, and park, I am definitely pleased. I felt like my turns were effortless and that I was really secure with my board. The extra padding on the main strap and footbed are great as well and I felt pretty secure landing jumps, going extra fast, and going through chunky/bumpy areas. These did take me a while to initially set up and adjust though (even after a few runs), but that's pretty normal I think since I'm still breaking them in. Also, even though I'm a regular size 9.5 boot and got a large, I had to squeeze the heel part of my boot into the binding. But by the end of the day, they were a perfect fit. I am guessing these are still being stretched out too since I had to re-tighten the toe cap part every so often, but I'm sure with time these will just get better

Great binding
I bought these for my wife, she loves them. I admit that she has nothing to compare them against as this is her first pair of Burton bindings, but she is more than happy. They fit well, adjust very easily and are easy to get into and out of. With a nice white board they look great as well

Well being a newbie to snowboarding...I've used bindings from the class I took and the bindings listed with the board that I have. These are great and I have no complaints about it.

"Not for a beginner, but it works"
Bought a pair for the gf. She moved up from med. mens Cartels to these. She loves the gold and white combo and upgraded air strap. She says that it's more confortable in the ankle, but seems to hold the same in the toe area. The toe cap took a few adjustments to get right, but after setting her up, strapping in and staying in was easy and most importantly comfortable throughout the entire day. But, she felt that these were more responsive as she would just lean just a little bit and would cause her to turn. Maybe just need to break them in a bit more

Highly Responsive
This binding is super responsive! Combined with a negative camber board (v-rocker), my turns are effortless. My only gripe about it is sometimes my toe straps come loose after a run. But maybe because it's new and hasn't form to my boot yet? But nothing a little adjustment won't cure. I use ThirtyTwo's (size 6.5) Lashed boots and they are wide, and the Escapades are kind of narrow. I bought Mediums at first and the bindings were so narrow for my boot I had put a lot of force to get them in. So I sized up, bought Large, and it fit my boots perfectly

Burton Escapades - sz small
Love these bindings! With a size 6, the small bindings are pretty much at their shoe fitting limit - but a snug and perfect fit really meant great control on the mountains. They're light, they're soft, and really forgiving - makes long days on the mountain a breeze. You'll get excellent control and it's money well spent on these bindings. They look pretty much like the Burton CO2 bindings, but for women. The ICS channel technology with these bindings makes for very easy and quick adjustability as well

Luxury Binding
This binding is terrific! With an 8.5 Ride Sash Boa Boot, I got a large and it fit great. The mounting plate for 4 hole boards or Non-Burton boards doesn't have the same cushioning like the one that is provided for Burton boards. Not a big deal though

Great responsive bindings
I tried these bindings for the first time today, and they were great! They are comfortable, and are very sturdy. I'm guessing since it's my first time using them, it was a little bit difficult for me to get the straps in, but I'm sure that over time the will become more flexible after use. I'm a size 7, but I bought the L and it fits fine

These bindings are luxury! I got the natural white, and they even have the wood grain finish!! They look better than the pic! Great fit, with my size 8 Burton Sapphire boots. Haven't managed to give them a go yet (as the Aussie season hasn't kicked off!), so can't comment on performance, but they seem like a really sturdy binding

"Good, even for a guy"
I'm a guy, but I got these in size Large cause I needed something high performing but at a cheap price. They got a response rating of 7, but it feels kinda like a 6 in a men's binding. I'm only 140 lb, 65kg, so that's all the response I need for the whole mountain. The size large is a good fit for my size 9US low profile 32 Team 1 boots. If my boots were any wider, they wouldn't quite fit in the heel cup. So I'd only recommend these for guys if you have a slim profile boot like some of the 32s. Overall they've been sturdy quality, except for one tow strap snapping in the cold (-20C), but that's to be expected. I don't like the design of the cap/toe straps. Burton should go back to the tow straps they used from 2005-2008, they hold on a lot better. There cap/toe hybrid straps seems to come loose and slip down or up. Still better than a plain old toe strap, but not as good as the cap strap

Amazing Bindings
After reading a ton of reviews, I purchased the 2010 Escapade bindings in Black Widow to go with my new board (GNU B-Nice BTX). These bindings are sooooo comfortable! Definitely a HUGE upgrade from the Notori bindings that I had. The Escapade is also extra comfortable since there's a lot of padding on the footbed. It's very responsive to your feet.. feels like heaven! On my first use, I hit the terrain park and felt extremely comfortable landing kickers (I'm a park newb). The only thing I don't get.. is the binding piece for the toe cap strap - It seems like it'll fall out/kinda loose, but I guess it really won't once you screw them onto your board. Maybe I'm doing something wrong here? Riding these with size 8 Ride Sash Boa boots and it's very comfortable! Thank you

GREAT BINDINGS
Great binding! I've ridden the Escapades for a good number of seasons now and I absoutly love them! I started off as more of an intermediate rider but they have helped me progress to more aggressive riding. They allow me to cut sharply yet still glide down the mountain if I choose an easier route. I would reccomend these bindings to anyone!

I love them!!!!!!!!!!!
Bought these bindings for my wife and she loves them. She said that the flex on them is just perfect and they surpass the cheap stuff that you may rent. She is a beginner, but loves the response she gets out of these bindings. We were introduced to them by other friends of ours and they said it seems like everyone we know (including the wife) just loves how comfortable they are. I hear they are also easy on the knees too. Plus we go them at a good deal so that never hurts. :

Great Bindings!!!!! LOVE THEM!
I really love these bindings. I have not had any problems with them. They are easy to adjust, easy to strap in quickly and look Hot on my sexy Forum board! I love riding in the park, going over boxes and jumps and these have been just perfect. Great for free ride too! I really love the toe strap because it secures your foot really well. I used my binding with BOA DC boots and it fit really well. My boots are size 8.5 U.S. (I think) and they fit in the bindings. They did have a bit of a tight fit to begin with because I got the medium sized bindings but with a bit of adjustment of the binding I was able to fix this issue. They were not recommended for size 8.5. None the less I love these binding and they are easy to customize! Buy em you wont regret it

Great Bindings!
Ok, I love them. They are super responsive and allow me to ride harder and faster. I had the Burton Notori's before and these blow those out of the water. I bought the Medium size bindings, I wear a size 7 boot. They fit a little snug, but adjusting the strap will help out

My girl loves em!
My girl was originally looking for Union Contacts but she just couldn't find the right size for her. She could fit into men's M/L fine but the strap was too long for her and it didn't look too secure. She didn't want the Triology so we went ahead and bought the Escapades and she loves them. They fit her boots perfectly and she could ride all day without any discomfort.

Pretty Good
I did like these quite a bit, until the toe strap snapped off in a way I couldn't repair it. I had another day left on my trip, so I kept riding. I was able to control my board reasonably well. The fact that I was able to keep riding with half a binding makes me seriously consider buying these again. Not sure yet

Nice
I finally got to try out this binding. They held up & I love them with the exception of one thing. The back of it gets locked up so you have to use a bit of force to push it down.

Great Binding
I upgraded from a lower-end burton binding from a couple of seasons ago to the 2010 Burton Escapade Womens. They were definitely worth the extra money spent. Super comfortable, responsive, light weight, and feel great. I have no major complaints

Burton Womens Escapade Bindings
Bought these bindings for my girlfriend. She is an intermediate rider who is progressing well. These bindings are great and they look great. The quality and material is superb. However, it isnt the most forgiving binding. That being said, it is extremely responsive and allows for great control

amazing!
Excellent bindings! I have an older model pair which have been on my Burton board for about 5 years and they have lasted perfectly ever since. No problems at all with these bindings!!

nice bindings
They are good bindings for the money but there are better ones out there. Look at the type of boarding you do and if you do more trick or backwoods I would not really say these bindings are the right ones.

favorite bindings
Awesome bindings. I found them as responsive as cartels but with a much better fit to my narrower boot and no calf bite. They show a bit of cosmetic wear after a little while, but structurally have held up great

Good bindings for the ladies
The girlfriend has these bindings and loves them. She wishes they had more color options left, but what are you going to do? The bindings are solidly made, with the ratchets feeling like the won't strip. Good amount of flex for an all around rider

Top Quality
Got these for the wife and she loves them. Being a stiffer more aggressive binding she has paired them with some Burton Sapphire boots and finds this a great combo for a comfortable fit. They are super responsive and help initiating turns. The amount of adjustability is great also.

Very light!
Very cool looking bindings, very light, and responsive. Gives a lot of support, but the high back is too short for me

Worth the Money
The Escapades are a great binding. It took me a bit to get the toe cap so that it wasn't slipping, but now there aren't any issues. I purchased these bindings as a beginner, even though they are considered an advanced binding. I found that these progressed with me as I gained more skill. These bindings are definitely worth the investment

Smooth and Comfy
I wear 8.5 wide Thirty-Two boots and the medium Escapades were too narrow and overall small. I returned them and ordered larges, which are a perfect fit. I haven't ridden with them yet, so I can't comment on performance. But the ratcheting system is super smooth and the straps are super comfy. They are also very easy to adjust to your specifications. Well made bindings

Great product!
Excellent bindings. Bought these and used these during my first season. Don't plan on going with any other type of binding for following seasons! Seem very durable and sturdy. Hope to get many more seasons of use!

Impressed
So I upgraded from some old school 2003 Men's Burton Bindings. My setup is a Ride Vista board with 2010 Ride Sash Boa Boots in a size 7. The Size M bindings fit fairly snug with my boots. I think I could have gone up a size to size L and been equal comfortable. The bindings are super responsive and I never knew that I could feel so connected to my board. They rock and handle well on aggressive turns and are very stable. They are also super comfortable. I would totally recommend these to anyone looking for an upgrade. I have only two problems with the bindings. The first disappointment with these bindings is that after a day of riding my white the dyes stained my boot brown (I have the natural white color)!!! Secondly, the toe strap can slip off after a bit of riding

Easy on and off
I love these bindings. The toe strap is convertible which gives you some flexibility with how you want to wear it. I have had other bindings that were very difficult to undo...these unstrap easily. The padding on the upper strap makes these very comfortable. Also, there are a lot of ways to adjust these to make they work to fit with most any boots

best women all mountain binding
Very responsive, this is the best binding so far! I used to ride with boy binding all the times, but after I got this, I realized the difference between the women's and men's binding is the width of it. If you are looking for the best female performing binding that is also super comfortable, get this

greatest bindings ever
As a somewhat new rider: really easy to put on the board, even if it's not a burton board like mine and even if you've never put bindings on a board before. Also, really responsive and easy to undo to take your boot out for the lift, and they fit my boots perfectly

Awesome Bindings!!
I got these for my girlfriend and she's loving these. First thing she said to me after trying these for the first time was how responsive these bindings were. Great price and a high quality product. I got her the medium pearl white bindings, and wow they are nice! Just one point is that they do get dirty quite easily and some hard to reach places to clean. Other than that... overall a very nice purchase

Great for learning to Carve
I bought these binding because I wanted to have more control over carving and was hoping to increase my skills. They are great bindings!!! I have only used them once this year and already see a 300% inprovement in my carving technique. I feel like I have control over the snowboard for the first time in my life. I have been riding family members hand-me-downs. They were cheap bindings, nothing compared to Burton's. I would never get another brand bindings again. They are super comfortable and great for all over the mountain

best bindings i've ever owned
Very versatile binding. i wear an 8.5 in burton boots and have large bindings that fit me well. If you're in between sizes, choose the larger one and adjust the straps if need be. Hands down the most responsive, comfortable, versatile bindings i've ever owned. they were a HUGE step up from my old k2 cinch bindings that were just plain sluggish. Perfect mix of aesthetics and function. buy them

Excellent Bindings
I purchased these bindings for my new V-Spot and found the whole package to be absolutely brilliant. These bindings are strong and highly responsive. The straps are well padded (so reduces any pain and no numb toes from strapping in too tight) and really lock the boot in for increased maneuverability. The ratchets on the binding are easy to use. The straps run through very smooth and it's easy to lock them up tight. My only qualm with these bindings was that if I took them down a run where I made some aggressive turns, the toe cap on my leading foot came loose. Generally, it just needs a quick tightening; but on one run the toe cap came off completely. It may just be mine needing adjusting, and no one else seems to have had this problem though. I have a pair of Burton Freestyle boots in a size 7, and the Large size binding fits perfectly. The recommendations are that 8+ go for the large, but generally I'm an 8 in shoes, and a 7 in boots and they were spot on. From a girl's looks perspective, I think that they look great in the white/gold. I have received a lot of compliments on them as they aren't just the same old black bindings that cover the mountains in Australia. All in all, these are a great set of bindings - Highly recommended

These have been the binding of choice for my wife for several years. The most comfortable, great feed back and very durable. She is the head coach of the local resort snow board team and easily puts in 80 + days a season on these bindings.

will these bindings work with burton v-rocker 147 model 276081?

Best Answer: The burton escapade came with three different mounting plates for a variety of boards. The Burton boards fit the Burton Bindings no problem. I used one of the other mounting plates to mount them to a K2 board. Actually we mounted two different sets to K2 boards.

vivianh on Nov 11, 2013
Best Answer: Do you wear a size seven boot or is that your shoe size? I'm a size 7 or 7.5 shoe but I have the mint burton boots in size 8.5 so I bought the large in these bindings. Had them for 2 years-great fit.

Best Answer: This model of the Burton Escapade Snowboard Bindings are from 2010.

A Size 8 women's boot will fit in both size medium and large snowboard bindings. I like a snug fit with my boot/binding setup...If you adjust the straps, the size medium will work perfect!
