A shopper asked: These bindings are compatible with the snowboard "Burton Bullet 157W" ?? Feb 1, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Brian T: Not entirely sure of what you mean by compatible but the bindings will fit to any burton board. The bullet has a standard burton hole pattern and will easily connect. There are plates included to fit the burton ics system as well. They also have a retractable base plate to fit the fact that you are riding a wide board. I am happy with the bindings on a burton process. Feb 1, 2014

Frederik f asked: How the heck do you open the baseplate? Sep 29, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Gregory Lee C: Hahahahahahahaha, not laughing at you friend, it took me half an hour or 45 minutes to figure that out as well. Look at the bindings and notice the crack where your heel would be standing. Underneath the padding on both sides are two plastic tabs. If you look into the crack from the back you can sorta see them. Pry up on those, they're stuck pretty tight, but they'll pop up and you can then mount your binding. To reassemble just pop them back in. Ensure the baseplate is level and flat, it does move back and forth a bit, and there is more than one set of holes to put the clips back in to. Nov 17, 2013

Joshua R: IF you look closely, there are two clips back towards the heel part that snap out of place. Pull on them hard (you wont tear it) and it peels up towards the toe.

Voila!

A shopper asked: do you get a Channel disc option with these bindings? Feb 12, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Ron C: Yes. The package contains 3d Disks, 4x4 Disks and Re:Flex disks. From the product flyer labeled BINDINGS that came in the package; there is a single page "Mounting with the Channel"; it shows a picture of the Re:flex disk mounted on the Channel. The Re:Flex picture and the actual binding we received look the same.

Now, the manual states the 4x4 disk can also be mounted on the channel -- BUT the picture and the actual binding in the package don't match or look alike in any way. I can give you more info on the 4x4 disk vs. the image received if you need it.

Joanna K asked: Are these gender neutral? I know women's bindings are made a bit smaller (the back support is a bit shorter to accommodate shorter limbs), so hoping these gems would be comfortable for us chicas. Nov 16, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
tobi a: hi Joanna,
yes the customs are neutral, but you have to find out how your women's boots size number compare to mens boots numbers in order to get the right size binding. you might also have to adjust the ratchet straps so that the boots fit snugly in the bindings. other than that, it should fit your boots.

alanna b: They are gender specific. Not only binding but womens boards as well are not as wide as mens. Not to say u can't get a small and they will work but they went work as they are designed to. Burton has the stiletto woman binding that will work great. Nov 30, 2013

amerc79 asked: Hi, I'm thinking between Burton Custom binding and Burton Infidel binding...what is your suggestion what to pick and buy? I'm riding all mountain, with lots of groomed areas and lots of back free riding (all mountain) . Please help what is your advice. Dec 1, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matt GStaff: Hi Muamer,

The Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings would be a little better for the type of terrain you ride the most. The Custom's highback is a little stiffer which offers more support and a quicker response for edge to edge transitions.

Jacob M: Almost any binding can work with almost any board as long as you have the right baseplate. If your bindings didn't come with a baseplate that fits, any ski shop or online snowboard store will have baseplates that you can buy to fit what you need. Dec 30, 2013

Justin D asked: I have the 2012 k2 Lifelike board and was wondering if these would be a good set of bindings for this board. If not these then what would you prefer? Dec 12, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jason B: I've only been out with them twice, but so far I'm real happy. They flex well with the responsive baseplate. VERY adjustable, straps, hi back, and forward lean. The polycarbonate base seems as bomb proof as advertised. I'm a 10.5 boot and that's towards the end of adjustment, so depending on your size, get the large instead if the medium that I got. It comes with all three plates so you can mount it to any board. Hi backs are a flexible, not sure how stiff you want, but work fine for me.
I also looked at the mission model, but this color matched my graphics better, and I'm not quite to the stage I'd notice the difference.
Also, I really like the primo toe cap.... Nice and snug!
