What is the difference between EST Bindings versus the normal ones? For example custom EST vs. reg custom bindings?

Thanks
A shopper on Feb 26, 2014
Best Answer: the difference is how they are bound to the board... the regular bindings are bound underneath the foot straight to the board and the EST bindings use the channel lock system and two screws on the side of the bindings. they have alot more flexability in foot position compared to those that are screwed to the board.

do the channel screws come with the bindings?
A shopper on Sep 12, 2014
Best Answer: Yes, they should. I remember having fresh screws when I installed them.

Are these compatible with the Burton Ration Snowboard?
Trevor P on Oct 5, 2014
Best Answer: I think you want the Customs that are meant to go with the 3D mounting pattern. These are meant to go with the channel. There *might* be instructions to try and convert them or make them work, but you'll get better control using the ones designed to be mounted on your board. Good luck!

Your DC Scout BOA boots would fit in a size medium 2014 Burton Custom EST Snowboard Binding best.

So its said 123.95 w/ board, is that with any board you buy at the same time you buy the bindings? or is there another package thats already on the site?
beazz on Sep 25, 2014
Best Answer: Austin,

Sorry about any confusion. These bindings are listed as of 9/29/14 at $132.95. If you purchase any snowboard at the same time, these bindings would be reduced to $122.95! These Burton Custom EST bindings are not currently in a specific ski/binding package. Hope this helps.

What Boots Size should i wear if I am a size 10 in my skate shoes? also What Binding Size do i need. M or L?
A shopper on Jan 12, 2014
Best Answer: It really depends on what boots you have. If you have a slim profiled boot you could ride the size medium Burton Custom EST Snowboard Bindings, but if you have a bulky size 10 you'd be better off getting the size large Burton Custom EST Snowboard Bindings.

will these bindings work on a bullet 164 ?
A shopper on Jan 5, 2014
Best Answer: the est bindings should work on all burton boards if your board does not have the channels that make it easier to install you have to buy the conversion plates for the bottom of the binding so you can screw them to the board

Best Answer: The Burton Custom EST Snowboard Bindings are excellent with the board bought in 2012. Unsure if they would work with the 2014 board as described as that is not the same board.

Will these bindings fit a 2014 Capita NAS Snowboard?
A shopper on Dec 21, 2013
Best Answer: The Burton Custom EST Snowboard Bindings can only be mounted on Burton boards that feature the Channel System.

i wear size 10 boots, what size of the binding should i choose M or L?
Jay M on Dec 18, 2013
Best Answer: Hi Jay,It really depends on the model of boots that you have. Some boots tend to be big and bulky for their size where as others may be slim.

What boots do you have?

Theoretically a size 10 boot would fit in a medium Burton Custom EST SNowboard Binding.

Will these bindings fit on a 2014 GNU board I just bought? Or are they only compatible with Burton snowboards?
A shopper on Dec 12, 2013
Best Answer: No they will not. You will need to look at the Burton Custom Bindings and not the EST bindings. Check them out at http://www.the-house.com/bt1cu02bk13zz-burton-snowboard-bindings.html

I'm usually size 8 depending on the boot, if I do have to change it's always down to a size 7. I just got a 151 board and was wondering if I should go with the S, or M binding? Thanks
A shopper on Dec 9, 2013
Best Answer: That's a question that has many variables. Both sizes of the Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings would fit on the 151cm board, but it's rather a matter of your boots. The main question I have would be, what boots are you planning to ride in this season?

Hello, I am looking to purchase this Burton Custom 156: http://www.the-house.com/9848btcus14zz-burton-snowboards.html

Will these bindings work with it? If so, is set up fairly simple?

Also, I wear a size 10.5 in boots. Should I go with a medium or large bindings?

Thanks in advance.
