A shopper asked: What is the difference between EST Bindings versus the normal ones? For example custom EST vs. reg custom bindings?

Thanks
Feb 26, 2014

Jon B: the difference is how they are bound to the board... the regular bindings are bound underneath the foot straight to the board and the EST bindings use the channel lock system and two screws on the side of the bindings. they have alot more flexability in foot position compared to those that are screwed to the board. Feb 28, 2014

Mike S: The est only fits certain burton boards where as the normals fit most burton boards. The est only fits a handful of boards cause the bolt pattern to mount the binding to the board is bizzare. Feb 26, 2014
Reply to Mike Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
TYLER P: Full adjustability and stance control also helps the est board get it's full advantage they are awesome Feb 26, 2014
Reply to TYLER Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Sarah F: It is easier to put the bindings on your board and fit them to your preference. Its a different system. Feb 26, 2014

Cass T: Burton EST (2-hole) Bindings are designed/constructed specifically/exclusively for use on/with Burton ICS/Channel/2-hole Boards and are therefore unique in that respect.

Basically, if your board isn't a burton with the channel system, do not get the EST bindings.

Eun Jae B asked: I have a Burton 2013 Whammy Bar 150. My DC Scout BOA boots are US10. Should I get M or L Burton Custom EST 2013 Bindings? Thank you Jan 7, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matt GStaff: Hello Eun,

Your DC Scout BOA boots would fit in a size medium 2014 Burton Custom EST Snowboard Binding best.
Jan 8, 2014
Reply to Matt Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Christopher M: I would go with the large. The medium straps will be at the ends when you buckle in, but you can adjust the larger straps to make them a bit smaller. Saves on the times you have to crank on the buckles and you can adjust to your likeness. Jan 9, 2014
Reply to Christopher Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Jon B: well the medium bindings run from size 8US and can be adjusted to the largest setting to 11US, the Large bindings start at size 11US. I would suggest the M bindings Jan 9, 2014

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matt GStaff: It really depends on what boots you have. If you have a slim profiled boot you could ride the size medium Burton Custom EST Snowboard Bindings, but if you have a bulky size 10 you'd be better off getting the size large Burton Custom EST Snowboard Bindings. Jan 16, 2014

It depends on what type of mounting system your 160cm Burton Clash Snowboard has. Does it have a 3D or Channel System mounting?

Matt GStaff: Yep, these Burton Custom EST Snowboard Bindings are compatible with the linked Burton Clash Snowboard that features the Channel System.

Thanks for double checking!

Have fun this season! Jan 8, 2014
A shopper asked: will these bindings work on a bullet 164 ? Jan 5, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jon B: the est bindings should work on all burton boards if your board does not have the channels that make it easier to install you have to buy the conversion plates for the bottom of the binding so you can screw them to the board Jan 9, 2014
Reply to Jon Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Dan F: They will work as along as you have the EST thanks on your board. Jan 5, 2014

R S asked: Will the Burton Custom EST bindings work with the Burton Custom Smalls Wide (Boys) snowboard? Thanks. Dec 23, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jon B: Does the board have a channel lock if so yes but all bindings are based on feel what kind of flex or feel you want to have... Dec 25, 2013
Reply to Jon Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
R S: Thanks for the quick response. How can I tell if the board has a channel lock? Does the second part of your answer mean that any bindings will fit on that board?
Last question: If I have a size 8 boot, should I go with the size small bindings (size 6 - 8) or the medium bindings (size 8 - 11). What size binding would fit best on the Burton Custom Smalls Wide (Boys) board? Thanks again. Dec 25, 2013
Jon B: Most new burton board's come with them they look like two line parallel along the center of the board, regular boards have 6 screw holes... either way there is a conversion pack to modify the bindings and either is fine the medium can be adjusted to fit larger boot sizes If you change boot size... the smalls that is the biggest it can handle Dec 26, 2013
A shopper asked: Will these bindings fit a 2014 Capita NAS Snowboard? Dec 21, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)

Jay M asked: i wear size 10 boots, what size of the binding should i choose M or L? Dec 18, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matt GStaff: Hi Jay,It really depends on the model of boots that you have. Some boots tend to be big and bulky for their size where as others may be slim.

What boots do you have?

Theoretically a size 10 boot would fit in a medium Burton Custom EST SNowboard Binding.

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Roy MStaff: No they will not. You will need to look at the Burton Custom Bindings and not the EST bindings. Check them out at http://www.the-house.com/bt1cu02bk13zz-burton-snowboard-bindings.html Dec 12, 2013

A shopper asked: I'm usually size 8 depending on the boot, if I do have to change it's always down to a size 7. I just got a 151 board and was wondering if I should go with the S, or M binding? Thanks Dec 9, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matt GStaff: That's a question that has many variables. Both sizes of the Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings would fit on the 151cm board, but it's rather a matter of your boots. The main question I have would be, what boots are you planning to ride in this season? Dec 11, 2013

A shopper asked: Hello, I am looking to purchase this Burton Custom 156: http://www.the-house.com/9848btcus14zz-burton-snowboards.html

Will these bindings work with it? If so, is set up fairly simple?

Also, I wear a size 10.5 in boots. Should I go with a medium or large bindings?

Thanks in advance.
