Description: Burton Cartel Restricted Snowboard Bindings

Routinely blowing minds.

Fads fade away, technologies come and go, and a lot of bindings don't live to see another season. The Cartel™, however, is entering its seventh season, and is ridden by more Burton [and non-Burton] pros than any other. While we've refined this recipe with improvements like Re:Flex™, AutoCANT cushioning, a new hi-back with no built-in Forward Lean, and special edition straps that let you switch between support and mobility, it's still the same binding…only better.

Key Features of Burton Cartel Restricted Snowboard Bindings:
  • BASEPLATE: Single-Component 30% Short-Glass/Nylon Composite Re:Flex
  • HI-BACK: Single-Component Canted Living Hinge Zero-Lean Hi-Back with FLAD
  • STRAPS: Asym Superstrap and Gettagrip Capstrap
  • BUCKLES: Dual-Component Smooth Glide Buckles
  • CUSHIONING: Re:Flex AutoCANT FullBED Cushioning System with B3 Gel Heel Cushioning
  • Features Re-Ground Materials in Baseplate and Hi-Back to Reduce Waste

Discontinued Colors

Burton EST bindings will only work with Burton ICS channel boards. Non EST Burton bindings will fit any current board on the market today.

Great bindings
These bindings are great! Plenty of adjustment for different types of riding. Good flex and support. I have a size 7 boot and that's the limit for this binding.

Quality binding
My son is an intermediate-advanced boarder and he is very happy with these bindings! Was loving the cushions and said it will feel good for his jumps, boxes, rails. Etc. as the other reviewer said, there are lots of adjustments, but size 8 is the max!

Will these bindings work with the channel system?
Jeni B on Jan 2, 2015
Best Answer: I just pulled my set out and I do have base plates for the channel included with my bag of parts. But I would make sure the description of your bindings mention something about channels because Burton does have boots or bindings specifically for the cartel seris. It's like an extra word in the product name. Basically just double check the product in the description and make sure your board also matches with your bindings.

What year is this binding?
A shopper on Feb 3, 2015
Best Answer: It looks exactly like mine, and those were 2013s. But usually that info is on the Web page like in the title description or the info box about it. Sometimes you gotta investigate a little bit lol.

What's the difference between restricted and regular bindings?
A shopper on Mar 9, 2015
Best Answer: Hi,
Good Question! As you saw there are four Cartel Bindings that we are offering for 2015. The Re:Flex versions are going to be the regular ones, and the EST ones are specific for the Channel Boards. The Cartel LTD are a very limited release edition. The Restricted version of the Cartels are offered by select (usually non-internet) retailers. The overall technology is the same throughout for 2015, however you will see that the LTD has different straps, and the Restricted a unique colorway.
