The Forum Recon Snowboard Boot has been a long time winner because it is known to outperform boots twice it price. For 2008, that fact has never been more evident as the Recon received the most significant makeover of all our styles. Its refined court shoe inspired outer with metal lace hooks is packed with our new 4D molded tongue, innovative hybrid liner with 3/4 footbed and ankle supports, stabilizing internal cuff, and our rugged high-traction cupsole with self cleaning tread.

Liner Concentrix level 1: Basic yet supportive, this no frills option features a molded EVA footbed, new anatomical PE supports, and adjustable calf for enhancement fit!
Cuff Link Silver: A new custom lace lock and provides much of the same comfort and hold as out Gold cuff link, except it comes in a streamlined configuration with an internal cage.
Sole Cup: High-traction cupsole's design is based on traditional skate shoe outsoles but with clever teaks like a self - cleaning hiking boot-inspired tread, as well as forefoot and heel gel inserts for enhanced dampening and cushioning.

This no frills price-point binding features a new 7% glass-fiber nylon baseplate and a molded nylon high-back/heel-cup combo with live hinge and tool-free locking FLAD. This simple yet effective and complete design delivers the most bang for your buck on the market, today.

Series Uniform: Accommodates both entry level riders who want an affordable, forgiving structure, as well as accomplished freestyle riders who desire a streamlined binding that is flexible yet strong. We built this system from the inside-out according to our concentrix design directive which maximizes performance by eliminating excess material to deliver a streamlined boot-to-binding fit.
Baseplate 7% Glass-Fiber: New for 2008, this baseplate ensures an ultra smooth ride with plenty of dampening making it an ideal choice for entry level or less aggressive rider or advanced riders who prefer more flex in their set-up.

Ankle Strap Misty: Employing the same high-performance internal 3D spine as the Misty Plush, this versatile strap features and exposed compression molded EVA foam pad and a fabric outer shell.
Toe Strap No Crap: Updated version of our No Crap toe strap which lets riders choose between a traditional toe strap on top of the boot, and a capped strap around the toe box. With its ease of use, riders can quickly change it up throughout the day to vary their riding experience from one run to the next.
