  • "Bonfire"

    , Fort Collins, CO
    Pros: Warm, Cons:

This jacket is warm and fits perfectly over all of your layers for snowboarding.

  • "Awesome buy"

    , OAK FLATS, NSW
Pros: Love the colour, Lots of pockets, Functional snow skirt Cons: Can't take off hood, Velcro ? Everything gets stuck in it over time,

Just love it - the colour is amazing, length and fit is perfect. Lots of room for layers. If you are after something fitted, I probably wouldn't go for it. It's very practical and comfy - 10/10 for me

  • "Pockets galore"

    , DALY CITY, CA
Pros: warm, waterproof, loose fit, Cons: no pockets on the inner liner,

this jacket has 7 pockets. 3 with a zipper, 4 with velcro, but they're all on the outside. Not a big fan of velcro because after a few years it will start to lose it's stickiness (depending how much you use it) and it sometimes sticks to inner liner. All you need underneath is a baselayer and shirt and you'll be warm. If it's sunny, leave the layers at home.

  • "Good jacket!"

    , Richmond, BC
Pros: Great jacket, Great material, Great quality Cons:

I don't have the exact jacket, but I have the 2009 safari jacket! The quality is the jacket is amazing, and the prices that sierra sells em for our awesome. The jacket is a little bit heavy though, but it's super warm and it is very flattering. I would highly recommend this jacket. Fits true to size!

  • "great jacket"

    , LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ
Pros: lots of pockets, roomy enough for layers, Cons: no mp3 pocket, sleeves long,

The jacket is roomy enough for layers underneath without being bulky. Lots of outside pockets, dosen't have an inner mp3 pocket which would be nice to have. Other than that love the jacket. Great color and fabric.

  • "Bonfire Safari 2 Womens Jacket 2010"

    , Elk Grove, CA
Pros: Fabric, lots of pockets, functional zipper flaps, Lightweight, available colors, Longer length, oversized hood, all the features! Cons: non-detachable hood,

The jacket is warm! The large pit zips come in handy for keeping me cool. The jacket is roomy and allows for layers without the bulk or weight. Pockets are everywhere! I just had to open up every pocket-- or at least find every pocket on this jacket. Endless storage. Powder skirt is actually a functional one. There's enough slack so the skirt doesn't ride up when you lift your arms. Twist, bend over, fall all you want. The skirt is staying put. There's a passholder pocket on the skirt too! Handy! The inner liner is quite fancy. A nice touch of detail. The outside fabric of this jacket is great. It's a herringbone texture. Sturdy, yet stylish. Length of the jacket is perfect for short gals such as myself because it prevents snowbutt (when snow goes down your bumcrack). Access to pockets inside the jacket is a cinch thanks to the separate flaps that cover the main zipper. It's a feature I didn't give much thought to until I saw the jacket and used the feature. It's definitely functional. It prevents snow on the zipper, access to pockets and surprisingly... bending was easier. I didn't have the front of the jacket fighting me or bulking up as a crouched down. Now the hood is a great thing. Fits over my helmet and way-way roomy. It would have been nice it if it were detachable. However, this is not a dealbreaker, obviously. It's now my favorite jacket. The violet color very pleasant. Not neon. Just an understated violet. Simple and classic violet... NOT purple. There's a big difference.
