  • "Great Jacket"

    Pros: Removable Hood, Insulation, Cons:

This jacket was a great investment. Simple jacket, but great. Removable hood if you're a helmet kinda guy. The insulation makes it pretty warm, but not too warm. On colder days, I can get away with wearing just a thermal with the vents closed. Warmer days just a t-shirt with the vents open. Good powder skirt, not too many pockets but enough. It's not baggy, per se, but definitely has a good amount of room in it. All around great jacket if you're not too terribly neurotic about zillions of features.

Pros: Removable hood, Cons: Kind of long if you have a short torso, No pass pocket or clip, Nondescript

Jacket fits really well, just as I would have expected. There is a light insulation to the jacket but it wears like a shell (I've never been a fan of the puffy look). So it is a bit warm but doesn't feel heavy. My favorite thing is the removable hood. I've had trouble finding a jacket with a fixed hood that is comfortable when I'm wearing a helmet so this fit the bill.
