"Decent warm jacket"
Pros: brand, hood, pockets Cons:great jacket for wearing on the slopes or as Apres. It is stylish with a woven type of fabric and faux fur hood. The pockets are functional and look good. the jacket will keep you warm and dry - with plenty of room to layer if needed. Bonfire make quality outerwear

"Good for the Price $68"
Pros: Draw cord at waist., Good sized pockets, Cons: Front zip one way., One, small inner pocket ,Bought a '686 smarty nouveau' before I saw this jacket (and bought it too, yes I have issues!) and when that arrived, it was full of good suprises. This jacket was a bit disappointing. The jacket is big around the arms and shoulders and small and the base. This would be a big problem if you are 'pear shaped', esp. since the front zip is one way (fortunately I'm slim hipped but, NOT a fan of one way zips!). Sleeves are on the long side and cuff adjustment looks smart but is not effective. Hood is overlarge and projects well forward (looks like you are peering out of a tunnel which is probably why the model is holding the hood in a more flattering position in each 'hood shot') Large hood will be practical in keeping snow off your face and help in keeping hood from falling back off your helmet (it has hozizonal and vertical adjustment). I wonder if the small pocket built into the skirt is supposed to be the pass pocket. I can't find any other pass pocket and this pocket is too low for autoscan in Japan and poor access for manual check in NZ and OZ Looks like I will be wearing an arm band). Front cargo pockets also have zipped side pockets underneathe. A heavy jacket that I think will be warm. Long line covers butt well, with good 'drip-line' to keep you dry. Waist draw cord gives a flattering shape, and will help keep you warm.
