I bought these for my son who does alot of snowboarding in the winter. I was impressed with the feel of the pants; the texture seemed weatherproof. It felt lightweight but padded enough to provide warmth. My son says they held up great even with a bunch of wipe outs! He also wears them doing other things outside too. He likes them for the style mostly as they are not bulky but says they are warm n dont get wet easily.

First Snow Pants
I bought these pants in black and was a tad skeptical at first, but these snow pants turned out amazing. You're getting what they're worth and then some. Definitely warm and well insulated. The material they're made from provides great wind resistance, and I stayed extremely comfortable on the slopes for hours. If they aren't warm enough for you, there's enough room underneath to layer up, although I didn't need to myself

Good Stuff
Keeps me dry, could be a little thicker, requires some good layering. Great for the cost

If my 16 year old son wears a 34 waist and 32 inseam, would you recommend the M or L?
A shopper on Dec 6, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I usually wear 32x32 and got the M; the length is perfect and there's a good bit of room leftover in the waist for me so I'd say M is probably good for him
are these good for spring riding as well?
james k on Dec 17, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Great for both winter and spring. In the spring, just don't wear long underwear in them. I just wear my boxers.
I wear a 30x36 in jeans. what is the inseam on these? What size should I order?
Mel m on Jan 16, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Make sure to check out the sizing chart link that is located right above the green "Add to Cart" tab if you already haven't!
So i was looking at the 2xl pant size.what size do they come in? Im pretty much a 42 or 44 size but i do want the pants a little baggy...or is there another brand you guys recomend for a big boy haha thanks
Ben p on Dec 27, 2013

If you haven't already, take a second to look at the SIZING CHART link that is located above the green Add to Cart button. The sizing chart will help you select the Boulder Gear Deluxe Cargo Snow Pants size you need with your specific measurements.

Special Blend makes some really great pants that would work nicely for you...
Are these warm for skiing?
A shopper on Oct 13, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The warmth of the Boulder Gear Deluxe Cargo Snow Pants depends on the conditions you'll be skiing in and the amount of layering underneath.

With 3k mm of waterproofing in the Dobby Nylon material and a DWR coating the pants will be great in light rain and dry snow conditions. Add in 40g of Poly for insulation and you'll find yourself in a warm pair of pants.

If you'll be in extreme cold conditions it will be a good idea to wear a base layer too, check out the base layer bottoms here »
If i wear a 30 waist and 34 inseam which size should i get?
Cristian B on Jun 25, 2014
Why do the pants I received after ordering these have no signs of ever having inner leg vents? There is no venting whatsoever. Is this a mistake in the pant or the description? That said though, they are very comfortable and fit well.
