A shopper on Aug 8, 2014
Does this have a goggle clip on the back?
A shopper on Oct 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, all snowboard helmets come with a goggle clip on the back.
When it says thin shell does that mean hard hat?
A shopper on Nov 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No, thin shell does not mean hard it. Thin shell refers to a low profile helmet. Still incredibly protective but not very "bulky."
how large is the xl? I have the same type helmet w/ the hunter plaid knit. And yea too tight, size says l/xl, i think i need xl or xxl for my noggin.
Drew U on Oct 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Drew,

This Bern Team Macon Helmet lists the XL size helmet as a 7 5/8 max hat size. This will be roughly 60cm. With out knowing your head size this is tough, but I would think an XL would work. Hope this helps,

-Tim
I don't see a goggle clip in any of the photos?
Lucas D on Oct 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
That is weird I agree... however this helmet is designed to transition from winter to summer use. I looked at the ones we have in back, and they all have a removable clip that will come ON the helmet. Look here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wslmmqvihpm1e0r/Bern%20Clip.JPG?dl=0 I am sorry for any confusion!
How is this helmet with warmth ?
A shopper on Dec 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It's pretty breathable. Haven't used it on the mountain yet, but I have worn it in below 20 farenheit wearher. The muffs keep my ears warm which in my opinion makes a big difference for cold endurance. I'd give it a good rating for warmth for a helmet with vent holes.
Does the "Satin Black w/ Ear Pads" version include the ear pads that go down the sides like in the picture of the "Matte Black Crown Graphic w/ Ear Pads"? The pictures only show them for the "Matte Black Crown Graphic w/ Ear Pads" version.
Justin B on Mar 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Justin,
This is a good question! These pictures are odd, but the Satin Black version will have regular snowboard helmet ear pads, and Matte Black Crown Graphic version will have an entire removable liner that the ear pads are par of (as pictured). I will clean this up on our page. Thanks!
i have a 60 cm head, how tight will the large be?
A shopper on Feb 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is unlikely that the Bern Team Macon Thin Shell Snow Helmet 2015 will fit you in a Large, the Xl is a much safer bet.
I measured my head size at 59 cm. What size would fit best?
bong y on Jan 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
Bern recommends the L size for you.
