Best skydiving helmet on the market!
If you are in the market for an affordable yet comfortable and durable skydiving helmet than the Cookie G3 helmet is just for you. I have been an owner of a G3 myself for a little over half a year now and love everything about it. I have had zero problems with the helmet and it has provided me with some amazing skydives. The Cookie G3 helmet has many pros and very few cons related to it, those are as follows.
G3 helmets are becoming more popular around drop zones across the nation, which is because of the endless benefits they provide. G3’s have over 20 different options for color, far more than any other helmet, making it very easy to meet a variety preferences. The helmet itself is a full face helmet, saving you money from buying googles. It is also nice because the full face will keep your entire face warm while on cold skydives. However, the visor is retractable incase you’d like to have it up for a warm skydive and/or if you are the type of person that likes the wind in their face once under canopy, like me. The helmet fits so comfortably and provides so much padding that I sometimes forget it is even on my head while falling.

The biggest downside to this helmet is the price. It cost around $300, which may seem like a lot of money, but when compared to other helmets it is actually one of the cheaper ones. Skydiving equipment in general is usually a little pricier which is why it is so much. Though you will save money because it is a full face and will not need to purchase any type of googles like you would with an open face helmet. The other problem with G3’s is their fit, they are extremely comfortable and soft, but the size is usually always a size to small. I initially bought a large helmet and it was too small. If you are okay with waiting another week for a replacement then order the size which may fit you, otherwise order a size larger than expected and it will more than likely work the first time. The only other minimal problem with these helmets is that the visor fogs. It will only fog if you put it down inside the plane to early, and even then once you jump it immediately becomes clear. If you wait to put the visor down right before you jump, which is what I do, then you will have no problem with fog.

Once again Cookie G3’s are the best overall pick for skydiving helmets on the market. They are cheap, in comparison to others, multiple color schemes, and a weightless fit on the head make this helmet worth every penny. It was worth every penny for me anyway.

I hope this review has helped in making your decision of buying a Cookie G3 a little more informed. Please do not hesitate to ask any other questions or concerns you may have for this helmet.

Blue Skies!!

Best Answer: The Bern Macon Thinshell Snow Helmet Satin White/Black Cordova is audio compatible, meaning you can put a speaker kit in the earpieces. Red Redphones Headphones, or skullcandy etc.
