These are adjustable in the back, they match the Avalanche board I bought, and they are priced right. I am not an expert in boards and bindings, but this has what I need. I have not used them yet.

Will large bindings fit size 13 mens boots?
A shopper on Nov 4, 2014
Best Answer: Depending on the company you will be able to fit a 10-14 size shoe, but it would be best to visit the companies website and see how their size runs work. All companies use a different sizing chart.

Is this Binding safe and efficient?
A shopper on Sep 28, 2014
Best Answer: I haven't actually tried it yet but as far as I can see the bindings are manufactured to the safest possible way for customers like us. I just put it on my snowboard and it seems like any other bindings out there. The latch, high back and strap are in excellent quality and I don't see any problem as far as efficiency is concern.

Thanks David, My two sons just ride mountain slopes no jumping stuns etc my son just started and my oldest I would say is about 3 years into it now . They said they wanted new bindings that sit up on a disck type I guess like I said i am not familiar with this sport..lol..would these be good for them? They have to be better than the ones they have..My one son is riding an Andy Hetzel from 1994 classic board. But I just got him a Burton .lol....the bindings they have now are metal...My one son is a 10 K2 boot so I would need a large right and my other is a 9 burton boot ..Thanks for your help
jay l on Dec 1, 2014
Best Answer: Jay, If you son(s) are riding a Burton board then they need a binding that is compatible with the 3 hole pattern. Check out our selection here: http://www.the-house.com/3d-bindings.html. Unfortunately the Avalanche Summit Snowboard Bindings will not work with the Burton boards.

What's the difference in the low and high back?
A shopper on Dec 15, 2014
Best Answer: Hey, a Low Back will in the end be more comfortable, and it is easier to initiate and land jumps. If you spend 90% of your time in the Park and Pipe... look at a low back. A High Back on the other hand gives you more control, and protection. They will be easier to cut and corner your board as you shred the mountain. For a normal boarder... the Highback is the way to go.... although personal preference plays in here too.

In response to below...My oldest rides a GNU and my other son can switch to his Kemper...Do these come with the mounting discs? And do they only fit 2 x 4 and 4 x 4 ...Thanks...and for a 9 burton boot I would need a medium? And for a 10 K2 boot a large is that correct?...Thanks

jay l on Dec 1, 2014
Best Answer: Jay - the Avalanche 'should' fit. My only concern is the age of the boards. If they're not too old - more than 5 yrs - the binding will work. They do come with the disc and are compatible with 2x4 and 4x4 (same thing with just a denser spaced hole option).
Regarding sizing, the Medium will go 6-9, and the large will hit 10+

will these fit the avalanche crest snowboard?
A shopper on Nov 20, 2014
Best Answer: Yep,
Both the board and the binding use the standard 4 hole mounting system. You are good to go.
