Nice helmet, does the job and works great with Skull Candy speakers
1st experience snowboarding with a helmet was good. I ended up buying the Skull Candy speakers at a ski shop and they integrated into the helmet great.
The only things I don't love about the helmet is that the ear pieces easily pull down out of the shell. They are only retained in the shell by a plastic groove in the shell and a bump on the ear piece which fits inside. As a result, if you aren't careful, you end up pulling the ear piece out of the shell when you put it on.
Once you are aware of it, its no big deal, but this seems like it should be an easy fix for Anon to make.
Does this actually come with speakers built in or do you have to buy them separate?

Best Answer:No, unfortunately this model does not come with speakers or audio. It is audio compatible, there are small zippers on the ear flaps where ear buds or speakers can be inserted, but this particular model does not come with speakers. I believe there is another model that is more expensive which comes with the speakers, or the Skull Candy speakers can be bought separately. Its a great helmet though! Very comfrotable! And warm. I've had a few good falls, and it has proven to withstand the impact. One of my earflaps has fallen off at this point, but I simply glued it back in and it seems alright...
