Tyler P: This helmet is just compatible with audio, it does not come with any installed. The ear pieces unzip to allow you to install your own audio. Hope this helps! Jan 22, 2014

A shopper asked: Is this basically the same as the red trace? Dec 28, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jimmy: Yeah kind of. I mean I've always been a big fan of Anon. I like how the helmet fits my head and even with my hat underneath it still fits really well. I also put speakers and/or earbuds in and I don't even get earaches or anything from them from a long day of boarding. It really is a great helmet! Dec 28, 2013

Andrea P: I am not familiar with the red trace. I know my son loves this helmet. He said it is comfortable, and he can listen to his music from it with no problems. He works at Brighton ski resort in Utah, so he uses it a lot, and has had no problems. I hope this helps. Dec 29, 2013

Kayla P: Yes, I bought the helmet for my boyfriend because he wanted the red helmet ... He loves it. The helmet does say anon on the back side of it but besides that it's very similar Dec 28, 2013

Jimmy asked: I've been getting mixed views on audio helmets with the buds and the pads. I like listening to music when I ride, but I also have to take out my buds for an hour or so to have my ears stop hurting for a little bit. What audio helmet would you recommend? Nov 29, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Roy MStaff: You really can't go wrong with the Anon Raider helmet. One thing to keep in mind however is that most helmets are now compatible with audio..that is they facilitate the insertion of speakers into a zippered sleeve. This way you can use your preferred headphones in your helmet. Nov 29, 2013
Reply to Roy M Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Roy MStaff: That's the way I would go about it. I actually use the Skullcandy Cassette headphones (http://www.the-house.com/sc8casm1apu12zz-skullcandy-headphones.html) as the speaker detaches and then get slipped into the audio compatible helmet. They then sit within the ear pads and you don't get the ear bud pain.

Regarding your sizing you're a Medium - for the most part as all helmets manufacturers vary a bit. Here's a link to some helmets that are audio compatile: http://search.the-house.com/?keywords=Audio+Accessory+Compatible. I'm a huge fan of the Mutiny if that helps.

Jimmy: I would also need a medium correct? My head size is 58.42 cm. Also, is there a helmet with speakers in them already? Probably more expensive, but I just fear that my ears will hurt after a long day of riding from buds in my ears. Just wondering if I could just hook up my music to a cord or something and just have it play through the ear vents where the speakers would be. Nov 29, 2013

Andrea P: We bought this helmet for our son. He works at a ski resort. So far her really likes it a lot, and has not mentioned his ears hurting. So far he is very happy with this helmet. Nov 29, 2013

Alex B asked: Since it says that their no adjustability does it mean that you can not adjust the helmet to fit your head and if so would it then be better to get the Red Trace II Audio Snowboard Helmet in case it I need to adjust it to my head? Dec 11, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Stephen F: It is true that there is no helmet adjustability on the Anon, however the medium fit is nice and snug and the adjusting chin strap does help a bit if needed. I am not sure about the Red Trace and it's adjustability feature. Dec 12, 2013
Reply to Stephen Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Matt GStaff: The Anon Raider Snowboard Helmet can be adjusted. The chin strap is fully adjustable, and the earflap / internal soft liner is removeable (in case you want to wear a beanie underneath). Dec 12, 2013

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matt GStaff: Hi Sarah,

Your son would need an Anon Raider Snowboard Helmet in size X-Smal (53-55cm). Unfortunately we do not have his size in stock.
