Get an old style revived and renovated in the Anon Vintage Goggles. You won't find an old school style on a pair of goggles anywhere else but on the Vintages. Their leather backing strap and bolted looking lens are just the start for these bad boys. They also come with Anon's Full Perimeter Channel Venting and Dual Layer Face Foam so you'll stay fresh feeling, while being supported. You will also get to pick from lens options like Silver Amber or Gold Chrome. So the Anon Vintage Goggles are the obvious choice for you this winter.
Goggles fit great and look awesome. They stick out pretty far but with a helmet looks fine. If the upper vent pads get ice or snow on them it refreezes and causes them to fog, but with clean vents they cleared no problems.
Its a nice goggle for helmet users: it pulls in tight against my face and the frame has enough structure to it so that you can put them on top of the helmet (resting position) or in front of your eyes with one hand. They also protrude enough beyond helmet so they can be grabbed with one hand. I like that a lot ! Strap is a bit narrow but it is working great after 25 days of boarding. And they served me well in 7 days of Jackson Hole ! If you are a non-helmet user I would note that they protrude out a bit far. Also, for both helmeted and non-helmeted riders the protruding effect of the goggles does lessen peripheral vision a smidgeon. But I am happy !
From the picture, this color was more maroon than I expected from the picture, but still cute. Also not as wide as I expected it to be, feels like a little bit bigger than the youth size goggles. Used this when it was snowing for twilight snowboarding & it actually kept fogging up, even though nothing was covering up the vents. Otherwise using it during the night was no problem if it didn't keep fogging up.
Depends the type of light I got the silver gucci ciolored ones but they're only good for mad sunny days. Any flat light gets hard to see standard uv reddish lense has always did me. Good even at night.
Best Answer:They work great for night riding! That is specifically why I purchased them. They have a VLT rating of 80%. They also work great on greybird days too. Anon website has a lens visualizer. Check it out anonoptics dot com
