Staff Review
Dave Mcall here talking about the
Flow Merc snowboard. Definitely a solid all mount freestyle performer, not going to rip too much cash off your wallet on this one but it has really good durability and really good versatility. What you are looking at is full wood core. It is going to have directional shape with a longer nose and tail. You can bang it pretty much almost twinned out if you scooch the back snowboard binding in towards the middle a hair.
From there has a progressive side cut. I cannot say enough good things about the progressive side cuts. What you are going to look at is a really mellow side cut towards the nose and the tail, it allows the snowboard to roll up on edge and transition up on edge really smoothly, but then as you actually power into the turn and arc into the turn it really makes it a really responsive carving snowboard.
These snowboards are great for people riding icy hard pack terrain, they tend to be a little more forgiving on the entrance, but then really powerful and good edge hold on that kind of terrain.
From there, you have got basically extruded base, it doesn't require much waxing, it is going to be really easy to repair. This one features a subliminated graphic. Pretty good clarity going on with it too. Lay up on the fiberglass on this one is going to be bi-axle. So it is a softer flexing snowboard, now definitely can get some presses going with this one, on 1 to 10 scale I am rocking it about 3.5 may be 4 ish. So a definitely forgiving great snowboard for the entry level to intermediate all mountain rider,
Flow Merc snowboard.
