  • "SOLID!!!"

    , Madison,WI
Pros: Smooth Stability,Great Value,Floats in Powder,Smooth Carves, Cons: heavy, gapey graphics, easily scratches,

This is the first board I bought new. I knew nothing about it other than I wanted to try a rocker. This board has done well and has handled everything I throw at it. It floats in powder and can handle a wide variety of snow conditions, even ice. Very predictable ride and carves are smooth and easy. Board is a bit heavy and if youíre used to a little pop in your ride, you may be disappointed. The extruded base is durable and is nice if you donít want to wax your board all the time. If you are just starting out and want a reliable board or if youíre an expert and just want a board you donít have to worry about, this is your board.

  • "Great board"

    Pros: Cons:

I Love this board, gives me great control on icy conditions! Its really good for picking up speed.

  • "Decent Board For Beginners"

    , oakville, ON
Pros: Fast, Good For Beginners, Decent in Powder Cons: No flex, Scratches , Heavy

This board is a decent board for beginner riders. This board does well on powder and can accelerate to higher speeds. On the other hand this board is extremely stiff and heavy so it is terrible for any freestyle or park. When i first started getting into rails i dinged the bottom of the board almost every time i hit a rail and it left a black mark or a scratch. This board is good for that beginner rider who doesn't want to break the piggy bank and who just wants to get down the hill.

  • "Good beginner level board"

    , Tucson, AZ
Pros: Low priced, Fast, Cons: No flex, not good with jumps,

The 5150 board is a very good beginner board when you are learning how to snowboard. It has a very stiff feel to it. I did not have any problems with it breaking down so it will stand the test of time. Definitely do not take this board in icy conditions. It has a difficult time when the snow is not good.

  • "It was okay"

    , AL
Pros: good in powder, Cons: scratches up,

Board wasn't that great. I mean it would have been better for maybe someone just starting and was not great in the park or on ice.
