Description: Sierra Reverse Crew Wide Snowboard

The Sierra Reverse Crew has a directional twin shape for all mountain versatility performance. Biaxial fiberglass with carbon glides over the snow with buttery smoothness and makes your ride quick and responsive. The engineered core is super efficient and maintains energy through lightning quick edge to edge transitions. The sintered base is strong and durable, meaning you will be ready to ride year after year. Ride hard and turn heads with fresh style on Sierra's Reverse Crew snowboard. We recommend the Sierra Reverse Crew for speed demons, powder hounds and especially guys who are skeptical of rockered snowboards! Since the evolution of reverse camber snowboards, the snowboard industry has debated the pros and cons, advantages, and riding styles of these boards. The Sierra Reverse Crew turns this debate on its head because it offers the same aggressive turn initiation and stability of a cambered board, speed of a race board, ollie power of a freestyle board and playfulness of rockered snowboard.

Key Features of Sierra Reverse Crew Wide Snowboard:
  • Directional Twin Shape is the most universal
  • Biaxial Fiberglass with Carbon is stable and snappy
  • Engineered Core Construction - More efficient energy transfer edge to edge
  • Sintered Base

Reverse Crew Wide

Staff Review

  • Dave Says

Sierra Snowboards are proud to introduce the Sierra Reverse Crew Snowboard, the very first reverse camber snowboard in our line. The Sierra Reverse Crew has a medium to stiff flex, a directional-twin shape, giving intermediate to advanced riders a true all mountain snowboard. The Sierra Reverse Crew is a unique snowboard encompasses all the top level technology with a twist. Such as; a four hole insert pattern that accepts any snowboard bindings and a damp top sheet which reduces chatter and unwanted vibration. The most impressive attribute of the Sierra Reverse Crew is its turning capability because the contact points initiate a turn with maximum efficiency. The graphics are both sophisticated and poppy. The Sierra Reverse Crew is the most aggressive reverse camber that we have ridden. We urge all intermediate to advanced riders to put this board to the test. We also recommend the Sierra Reverse Crew to riders that may want to experiment with the reverse camber but without sacrificing the turning capabilities of your traditional snowboards.

Sweet board for my big feet
Once you go wide you will never go back. I where size 12 32s and this board is perfect size for those monsters. Great all around board and easy to learn on.

Handles like a joystick
I bought this board not knowing really what to expect. It feels like a BIG MOUNTAIN traditional camber board, but can initiate turns at the drop of a feather. The base soaked in the wax. You can turn as hard and as sharp as you want. This board can handle it. The single most impressive thing about this board is that it cuts through chop like a hot knife through butter with almost zero vibration. This board was most certainly designed for a speed freak like my self. This board is VERY stable at ludicrous speeds. Edges are razor sharp. The board feels heavy at first then as you build speed it becomes very light and nimble and floats over the snow.

Good board
Took the board to Sierra-at-Tahoe last weekend, this is my third board in over 15 years, better than either previous one I had.

all around great board
Its an all around great board. Being my first board I was hesitant on what to get so I didn't want to spend much. But in the end the board has a simple look but isn't too dull.

Pretty good
I know the specs say it doesnt, but after some research or buying one for yourself, you will see that this wide board does have a set back. Not too big of a deal depending on your application and binding set up.
Board is great. My only complaint is that by the end of your first day, your top sheet will have cosmetic damage. It is super delicate but as long as it doesnt ruin anything structurally it doesnt bother me too much

Does this board come with binding or is that bought separate?
A shopper on Nov 14, 2014
Best Answer: I bought it as a package, which did at the time. There were different packages available for this board, each with different bindings for varying prices. It would definitely specify somewhere in the description if it was a deal that included bindings.

It looks like this is great for powder, how about groomed/packed? Also, how often should this be waxed?

Thank you!
TwoJames on Dec 4, 2014
Best Answer: All right brah- this is my first board and is a great beginner powder/ park/ groomed/ all mountain board. However, for the park it could have a bit more flex for jibbing. As far as the waxing is concerned- I wax it when it needs to be waxed. Of course grooms rip the wax faster than pow does, but I ride mostly grooms here in northern AZ and southern UT.

What is the model year of this board?
schottypoo on Jan 14, 2016
Best Answer: I think it's 2010 or 2011. Looks like it but looks like solid stuff. I not ridden yet , first weekend is 1/16. Seems like the review video is an accurate description .

I wear a 13 size boot. Will i have toe hand heel drag with this board?

I am also looking at a little more into freestyle riding. Is this board at least a decent freestyler?

Last, whats the flex rating out of 10?
Jack W on Dec 31, 2015
Best Answer: I bought this board because I have larger sized feet. I wear a 13 and I have no problem. I would also say this board is great for a freestyler, the board kind of offers a little bit of everything which is great. Also, I don't know what your skill level is but I bought this board because I was a beginner and just learning. I don't know if I can assign an accurate flex number to the board but I would definitely say its on the stiff side of the spectrum. I personally think this board is absolutely great for what the price is, I love how it looks and I always get complements. If I were to change anything I would make it a bit more flexible but as a beginner its perfect. Ive had it for two years and I still love it.

I have a size 13.5 foot but will probably where a 13 boot for less drag. Will this board work? And what bindings would you recommend for this board?
Rion J on Dec 15, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Rion,

You should definitely be on a wide board like the Sierra Reverse Crew Wide Snowboard! There are a lot of great bindings that could work. Here are a couple of our best sellers:

Burton Freestyle: http://www.the-house.com/bt1fre04bk16zz-burton-snowboard-bindings.html

K2 Sonic: http://www.the-house.com/k21son06bk15zz-k2-snowboard-bindingss.html

Hi, i am a big guy looking for a board that will fit me well. I am 6"1' and weigh about 240 with size 13/14 feet depending on the brand. I am still a beginner but i pick things up quickly and so i want something that i could grow into a bit skill wise. would this be a good fit or am i going to need something longer?
Dallas M on Nov 29, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Dallas. I would look into something a little bit longer. Maybe around 165cm range on a wide board. Check these boards out - http://bit.ly/1YDrOHP
