good bindings and kit for this splitboard?
justin g on Jan 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You need the Voile Kit. It will have touring brackets, dual climbing wires pucks, base plates and pins as well as all the hardware you need to attach it all. The board comes with Karakoram hooks and clips. I use Ride LX bindings as they are a nice flex, contour, very tough and durable, and low profile. Attached to the base plate they are not even that heavy. You could also go with Splitboard specific bindings but those cost over 300 bucks. I use Voile Tractor Skins and Voile Adjustable Poles. I tour with this board a lot. It is very surfy and soft feel but absolutely can have bite with the back camber and overall 6 in stiffness on a scale from 1-10. The rocker in the nose and set back stance keeps you afloat in pow and adds to the fun surfy feel. The board exceeded my expectations.
