Description: GNU Billy Goat Midwide Snowboard

When you a looking for a board that will suit all your needs at the resort or in the backcountry, check out the GNU Billy Goat Midwide Snowboard for men. Aside from the cool art, this board is loaded with features that you are going to love. We are all too familiar with "packed powder" resort conditions, but on the Billy Goat, it won't matter. The edge features Magne-Traction 0.5 that will allow you to cut into ice and turn like you are on ice skates while the ANVITEX dampening will reduce the chatter as you pass your friends. Overall, you'll have more control on this snowboard than you've ever had before.

I'm 5'11 175 lbs with a size 12 boot. I currently ride a Palmer carbon circle 2 but it's time for an upgrade. I'm an intermediate to advanced rider and like to get from top to bottom of the slopes as fast as I can. I want a board that will handle well at high speeds on the piste but will feel equally at home in the powder or sweeping through trees. I'm not in the park very often except for the occasional box or jump. I was hoping for a 2014/15 model but a 16 wouldnt be out of the question if it was worth it. The 162mw billy goat looked like a good option. Do you have any better recommedations? Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: Hi Jay,

I remember the Carbon Circle, that thing was a beast!

It sounds like you want a directional / directional twin board that's very responsive with lightening fast edge to edge transitions, grippy edges, and lots of energy. Those are my favorite boards to rip on, I absolutely love riding as fast as possible and pushing boards to their limits. Below are a few of my favorite:
