Description: Ride Slackcountry UL Snowboard

One of the best powder boards that Ride has produced in recent years, the Ride Slackcountry UL Snowboard aims to give you the greatest fresh powder experience possible. For intermediate or advanced riders, this board owns a fairly stiff flex designed to allow you to maintain control even in the roughest terrain, while remaining lightweight enough to glide over deep snow due to its strong fiberglass construction. The Ride Slackcountry is the board you need to conquer the powder on the mountain.

Stable and great for fresh pow
Perfect flex and lays down a nice line. Responsive for a big board with wider base and head. Perfect for snow in Montana. In general most all of Ride boards are great, and this is no exception

How does the 168 version handle on groomers and non powder days? And with the 168 would a 13 boot be ok ? I'm 6'6 and 265 lbs. my 2011 arbor roundhouse just bit the dust and I am looking for something a bit stiffer. Any help would be greatful

Best Answer: I ride a 157 in the park but I got a 161 slackcountry for powder. Only got to use it on groomers and east coast (usa) ice for the first year I had it. Needless to say, i've had no problem with this board in any conditions. Meant for powder and works best there but it's a good all around board in my opinion. I'm 190 6'. Board is on the upper end of my range but that helps in the powder. My slackcountry is much stiffer than my park board. My size 11 boots fit perfect on the 161. Sorry i can't help specifically with the 168 but a little comparison is better than nothing.

Hi there. What size would you recommend for a 176lbs competent rider mostly riding in good quality snow and pow?
A shopper on Dec 18, 2014
Best Answer: Hey,
These answers are quite good. I will throw in that Ride suggests you would be best off in the 161 version of the Slackcountry.

Can I use the 164 cm with an XL binding?
I have shoe size EU 47 and currently I have a wide board.
Stephan G on Jan 19, 2014
Best Answer: Yes the Ride Slackcountry UL Snowboard can use an XL binding...however I would not recommend anything over a size 11 boot
