great fun board
I demo'd this board few weeks back, and i have to say it was one of the best boards i've used. The K2 guy told me this board is to replace the believer (which i use to own 2010 model), and i have to say this board is much better than the believer. Initially i wanted to try out the raygun, but he didn't have it there, so instead i went for the happy hour which he recommended. From my first impression, i didn't think much of the board and wasn't really looking forward to testing it. to my surprise the board was great! it was very playful and just went well with my darko boots and cartel bindings. to me the board was flexible enough for me to butter and play around, held the edge well, very stable, good pop, and light (the lighest i demo'd on the day).

the thing i dislike about hte board is the shape of the tips. the shape apparently has no purpose, so i don't see the reason in it. my thought was that it had a much higher chance of damaging my board bag if i decide to buy the board.

i think this board has a good chance of winning goodwood award.

My son is 6'3" and weighs 150 at age 17 and he is an advanced snowboarder who goes everywhere he can on a board. Would this be a good board for him?
stephanie s on Sep 4, 2014
Best Answer: I have been riding this board for two seasons, and like your son, I go everywhere. This board is an excellent all-around board. It is super light weight, flat and very compliant, but easily gets on its edge when needed. Its a very 'easy' board to ride. The shape of the nose and tail definitely gets alot of attention in lift lines. I am 43 and have the bright lime green version, lots of complements. The tips do make standing the board up on hard surfaces challenging, but all in all, it is an excellent board for the money.

i have an 11 sized boot. Will the width of this board works for me? thanks
A shopper on Jan 11, 2014
Best Answer: Generally I suggest that riders with size 11+ boots ride boards that have a waist width of 25.8cm or wider UNLESS the boots have Shrinkage Reduction Technology.

Check out all of the wide K2 boards HERE: http://www.the-house.com/snbd-wide-snowboards.html?refine.vendor=K2
