  • "great fun board"

    , Melbourne, Vic
Pros: Light, Stable, Felxible Cons: Tip Shape,

I demo'd this board few weeks back, and i have to say it was one of the best boards i've used. The K2 guy told me this board is to replace the believer (which i use to own 2010 model), and i have to say this board is much better than the believer. Initially i wanted to try out the raygun, but he didn't have it there, so instead i went for the happy hour which he recommended. From my first impression, i didn't think much of the board and wasn't really looking forward to testing it. to my surprise the board was great! it was very playful and just went well with my darko boots and cartel bindings. to me the board was flexible enough for me to butter and play around, held the edge well, very stable, good pop, and light (the lighest i demo'd on the day). the thing i dislike about hte board is the shape of the tips. the shape apparently has no purpose, so i don't see the reason in it. my thought was that it had a much higher chance of damaging my board bag if i decide to buy the board. i think this board has a good chance of winning goodwood award.
