The KRYPTO MAGTEK is an effortless all-mountain board that enhances every style and state of mind. AmpTek All-Mountain combines traditional camber between the inserts with moderate tip and tail rocker for increased power, stability and float. Magne-Traction 7M delivers continuous tip-to-tail edge hold, enhancing control in the gnarliest conditions. Grown from the same seed as the new Xav pro model but with a more forgiving directional flex, this Outside "Gear of the Year" winner "can be taken out any day, in any conditions."

    Pros: Good Edge Hold,Responsive Flex,Smooth Stability,Great Value,Quick Edge to Edge,Smooth Carves,Durable Construction, Cons:

Dont let the name fool you, magtek is magnatraction. Its a great peace of tech for icier and hard pack conditions, but you do not have to spend the extra cash for lib tech or gunu for the same quality. This is a sweet board that rides like a dream for an even sweeter price.

A shopper asked: Just bought this board and didn't try yet.
Should I wax it before?

Steven G: No need to wax. It comes with a pretty good surface when it arrives. If you find it rides slow its because of the extra surface area drag on your edges not the shine. This board is not fast. But what you give up in speed you get back in control big time.

If you still think its slow after a week or two give it a good wax.

Steven G: Sorry but I bought it as a gift and not for my own use. I do not know the answer to your question. My son really enjoys it and I hope you do also. Feb 17, 2014
