  • "fantastic board"

    , KY
Pros: smooth, easy turns, good for the park Cons:

this is by far the most versatile board i have ever owned. it is extremely smooth on those icy days and holds an edge great. this board is very responsive and railing turns were a breeze. i actually did some moguls for the first time with this board and not that i can say they were fun, the responsiveness of this board helped me turn back and forth very quickly and easily. this board is also great for the park. jibbing was a blast with this board. it is soft enough that you can lock into presses and butters, but it is stiff enough to take it off jumps too. this year has been a great expierience thanks to this board and i look forward to next year. i would recommend this board to an all mountain guy that literally does everything.

  • "SOLID!"

    , west deptford, NJ
Pros: Fast, Stable, Nice Flex Cons: none,

One of the few K2 boards i had the pleasure of trying. K2 really makes a solid product. I could press for days on this, yet charge down the hill and take it off jumps. I did not get to try it in the pow, But most rocker boards do just fine in the fresh. A very fun and predictable ride for sure.

  • "Great Board Upgrade!"

    , NEWTON, IA
Pros: Easy To Ride, Responsive, Light Cons:

After about 9 years of riding a Liquid Trip 60, just about anything would be a worthwhile upgrade. After reading reviews for hours and hours I decided on the K2 Raygun 156. I couldn't be happier with my choice. First run was at Winter Park, CO. Got on the board and everything felt so natural. Easy to turn, holds good at speed, it gave me a lot of confidence. Continued the day through some deep powder, some moguls, groomed, and ungroomed runs. It was great on everything. Never took it to a terrain park, but did hit some natural jumps and the board response was great.

  • "Very Impressed"

    , NEW RICHMOND, WI
Pros: Easy Turning, Very Smooth Ride, Good Flex Cons:

At 50 I was unsure if trying to snow kite or snowboard was such a good idea. I tried learning on a rental before taking the plunge but felt like I was riding a plank along with spending most of my time picking myself up. I was about to give up when I ran into a guy my age that had taken up snowboarding just a few years ago. He had purchased the Raygun at the start of this season and he just raved about how great this board was and how it had improved his riding. I took his advice and got this board. What a difference from rentals. I am doing much better and not spending so much time on my back side.

  • "Sick Board!"

    , Morristown, TN
Pros: rocker, very smooth, does about everything Cons: scratches easier than some boards,

This board is so sick! From the park to the pow it can withstand anything you put it up to. I really like the flat to rocker tech which gives it more pop than most full rocker boards. After riding a few boxes and rails it banged up some, not much. Overall this board is the total package. Graphics are pretty cool too.

  • "K2 Raygun"

    , AL
Pros: Nice edges , Smooth ride , Cons: Ok in park riding, bangs up easily ,

This board is really great all over the mountain. I have done park and powder riding its awesome. The edge are great i widened my bindings and it helps with spinning. The rocker is really nice on it as well.

  • "Awesome Board!"

    , CLARKSVILLE, MD
Pros: Fast, Easy Turns, Flexible Cons:

This was my first snowboard purchase and I must say, I am very pleased! The graphics on the board are by far my favorite. After reading about how great this board was all around, I had to get it, especially with a price tag of $350. This board is fast! It took some time for me to get used to it. It is super easy to turn and carve on this board. The edge never catches. I do mostly all mountain riding but tried some park as well. The board is very flexible and will definitely be awesome in the park as well. This is a must buy board for anyone on a budget!

  • "Amazing Snowboard"

    , MA
Pros: Easy Turns, Never Catches Edge, Great Flex Cons:

I learned to snowboard last year(2009-2010)and picked it up quite quickly but always felt like my Lamar was just holding me back. This year I decided to buy the Raygun off of an opinion made by a friend. He couldn't have picked a better board for me. I have never carved down the mountain so well! The first ride for the season was on the Raygun, and let me tell you it was amazing! I had never felt so confident before on a snowboard! I've used the Raygun three times so far and I couldn't say enough about it. My boyfriend was really suprised at how well i was doing compaired to last season. This board has it all, great graphics, good pop, great in pow, easy smooth turns, fantastic on all of the mountain!
