charles s: Yes. The 155 cm is a wide board as well. It is 26.2 cm wide and the 159 cm is 26.5 cm wide. Great board at a great price. Hope this helps Dec 23, 2013

Jabari G: I would place myself in the "beginnger-to-intermediate" category, in the sense that I know I still have many things to learn, but I feel pretty confident about going down trails and not falling over every single bump or ridge.

I don't know much about the Salomon board. But, I bought the K2 Brigade wide 159cm, and I have to say, it's made me feel much more confident on the mountain. The K2 board has "Catch-Free Rocker" tech. What does that mean? I'm not exactly sure, but I can tell you that while on it last week, I was turning, riding toeside & heelside without catching an edge, doing 360's on the ground while turning, and I felt great about being able to do it.

I'm mostly ride greens/blues, do a few jumps in the terrain park, and I really feel like I made a great buy. This board allows you to go fast when you have the desire/trail, but makes you feel comfortable about doing so.

My 2 cents.

Turner B: Yeah I ordered the k2 brigade 155 wide and I'm very confident that I made the right choice thank you very much Jabari (: Dec 27, 2013
David D: I ride the k-2 brigade. Have not used a salomon board. I like the k-2, it's a great riding board. It's great for trails and long rides. I have taken on some boxes and small kickers. Only draw back may be board flexability. But I needed a bigger board as I'm a bigger rider at 6'3" 240lbs. Hope this helped. Dec 26, 2013

Turner B: Hey man thanks a lot I got the k2 brigade and going up Sunday to try it out that really helped me thanks (: Dec 26, 2013
Lukasz W: I used this board all last season without issues. Never caught an edge and I had no toe hang (I've had issues in the past). I'd say the board is a bit heavier than I would like and you can feel it when hitting jumps or even just going up a lift. Hope this helps you out. Dec 28, 2013
