Reviews were pretty awesome and I haven't bought a board in a few years... i'm 40 and am starting to take my kids to the mountains and Ive gotten to a point where I can afford to get some nice gear for myself after years of baby jail... lol

Hi! I'm looking to buy a board for a friend as a present. He rides a 166 Burton board (sorry can't remember the type of the board, maybe a flying v?) and is an advanced rider who enjoys all terrains including tons of wood runs. He weighs around 158, 5'11". He likes Burton's Custom X board, but what size would you recommend since 166 seems hard to find in that board? Thank you!

BEST ANSWER: Well the 164W isn't too far off. If you're looking for a size near 166, the 164cm(W) may be one of the closest sizes you're going to find.
Would the burton mission bindings go well with this board? Or any other suggestions? I just started ridding a lot of blue runs in the park and I'm thinking about doing some black diamonds. Would this be a good setup and if not what would? I do all mountain but love to just cruise.

BEST ANSWER: Hi there Edgar. Yes, the Burton Mission's will be an awesome match with the Custom X Wide. You'll have a great set up!
