I grew up a skateboarder and have been snowboarding sense 1995. I am turning 40 next year and this board does everything that I need it to do on the mountain. I'm not gonna do the park, might hit a couple of tabletops but mostly go balls to the wall down the mountain!!

Test rode this board in Soelden, Austria today. Simply amazing responsiveness in powder and hard-packed snow. Easy to see why this is a best seller for Burton.

What's the best suggested set up of boots and bindings for this board?
A shopper on Mar 18, 2014
Best Answer: I been riding the 2014 Custom X Wide with the 2014 Burton Cartel EST bindings. For me the Cartels have worked great with this board. Comfortable, responsive, adjustable and well made.

If I had to do it over again however I would get the Reflex Cartels instead of the EST. For me the EST design limits how much of an angle I can set the bindings to. Also I have found I need to check the tightness of the two screws holding the EST bindings on the board before riding. Twice this season the screws loosened during the day.

I wear K2 Maysis boots that are a couple years old. It is a pretty stiff responsive boot if I tighten down the two BOA cables systems. The boots are comfortable, warm and quick to adjust.

I have found the Custom X comes alive when you really pick up speed and aggressively get it up on edge. Great at carving and has nice pop out of the turns. Took it up icy half pipe walls and it worked great as well. I find it too stiff of a board to ollie and play around on at slower speeds though.

Hope this helps and good luck.

IM 5'7" and I wear a size 11 bootis this board to big?
A shopper on Aug 26, 2014
Best Answer: A board's length is greatly determined a rider's weight. How much do you weigh?

With a size 11 boot you should ride a board with a 25.8cm waist width unless the boots your ride have shrinkage footprint reduction technology.

how do I get prescription goggle lens?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2014
Best Answer: Goggle lens you sent was pretty good, but there was a little problem on nose rubber. It was parted from frame.

Custom X wide deck is really nice thing. Nice strong edge, hardness is perfect to ride any type of terrain include mogul, half pipe, free riding terrain.
