Brian with K2 snowboards. We are going to look at the K2 Temptation snowboard. This is Wille Yli-Luoma's pro model snowboard. It has a little bit of carbon on the tip and the tail to give it a lot of good edge hold. It has a lot of snap in the tip and the tail, but it's a little more flexible in the center of the snowboard to make it more forgiving for all mountain riding. It will also have some carbon fiber strips running the entire length of the snowboard, just to give it a little more snap and edge hold. The Temptation was, like I said, developed by Wille. If you think of what a pro snowboarder would be doing, they are riding all-mountain, the groomers, the park and the back-country, and they need something that's powerful to get them through all their freestyle stuff anywhere on the mountain. The K2 Temptation Liwe snowboard is straight from the mind of K2 team member Wille Yli-Luoma. It uses Hybritech construction on the tip and tail to minimize swing weight, make turning easier and add to the durability of the board. The core is a lightweight poplar that minimizes vibrations. The laminate layer has layers of carbon and Kevlar for extra strength and a sintered base that holds wax well and keeps the board riding fast. The progressive sidecut makes turning easier and gives this one a little versatility.

Hybritech construction - Cap tip and tail blended into a sidewall along the running surface for a low swing weight and optimized turn initiation at the ends, combined with durability and damping on the running surface
Hyper progressive sidecut - A very gentle radius in the tip and tail are blended to a tight radius in the center, aggressive yet versatile
Multi Polar Core - Lightweight strength and liveliness but w/ added damping pads isolated under each foot, which cuts vibrations leading to the foot, and gives you a flatter, faster base by reducing "base suck-up."
4000 sintered base - Fast and durable with long wax retention
Standard steel edges - Proven durability with one piece of steel wrapped around the entire perimeter of the board
Laminate - Triax Bottom/Carbon Precure Top/Carbon And Kevlar Inlays
Carbon Plus Torsion Forks - Four layers of carbon, two toward the contacts and two spanning the board ends. Additional stability and pop for off-axis takeoffs and landings.
