Burton Mayhem. What you are looking at is pretty much kill-it-all fun on this board. It kind of can do freestyle, can do freeride. Burton has been listed with all mountain freestyle, which basically means all mountain. Really good value on this board. What you are looking at is you got their 10:45 sidewall, really like the sidewall a lot. Puts a lot of meat directly over the edge, so it is durable, it is got a lot of bite, but that may change into a slant wall right at the stop to save some weight. It is kind of the best of both worlds on that one.
This one runs the super Fly Core, tried and true core for
Burton, still lighter than a lot of other companies' high-end cores. Tons of laminations as far as different pieces of wood that go into this. It will orient the grain of the wood outwards or vertically, how you are looking at it right now. So that takes the energy from the inserts and the binding, puts it right to the edge, so you get really good grip with it.
On this one, you are looking at a sintered vision base, got really good pop on the graphics. This has a sintered base.
Burton has the best base finishing out of anybody in the industry. I think it is ready to go right out of the box for a good 3 to 5 times out. It only gets faster the more you wax it. This one is going to have a directional shape. It has got a little bit longer nose than tail with twin flex. That's kind of what helps it have its versatility as far as being able to do park or being able to do high speed groomers as well too.

Burton does utilize a full tip-to-tail wood core on this one or on every board I should say with the exception of their high-end aluminum honeycombs. All the Burton boards this year are coming with this Get Lifted ticket. Super, super good selling feature. Burton shelling out over 20 million for this program this year. What you are looking at is you can get a Lift Ticket at pretty much half the resorts in the nation. They have a list of the ones that are participating online. You just fill this out online, get your Lift Ticket. It is a really, really sweet deal and only Burton is doing that

Other than that, you got your infinite ride process built in on this one. They are going to overbuild the board and stick it into a machine that simulates about three years of usage. Technology really does work. You are going to flex it the day you get it out of the box, it flexes the same two years down the road. So really good longevity with the board.
So, Burton Mayhem, I mean super good price point, kind of do everything board. Flex rating: you are probably looking at say maybe like 4 out of 10, so it is forgiving. An entry level rider can still get on this board, but still be rocking it five years down the road too. Just super versatile
