Is there a way to purchase this board as part of a spiltboard package? i.e. with skins, and bindings/voile+bindings?
A shopper on Mar 22, 2014
Best Answer: U can't. But just buy puck set and touring components from voile. Get spark bindings your skins and black diamond compactor poles n ur good to go. Good luck n u can get most of this @ house and what they don't have just amazon. If price is an issue get all your accessories first and use a cut board to start, then lastly buy a real split board.

what is a split board?
A shopper on Jul 10, 2013
Best Answer: A split board, as with the Burton Freebird Splitboard Snowboard, is a board that can separate for the purpose of ascending a mountain, ridge, slope or glade. When split, the Burton Freebird split board functions as a pair of cross country or telemark skis. Combine this trait with the aid of skins (traction devices) that are placed on the bottom of each half, allows you to ascend most reasonable slopes virtually head on. Truly is an awesome way to experience snowboarding; no lines, no noise and no ticket.
