Nice flex for jumps and stability
No real mountains in the medwest here, but the NS can hold its own on any crappy ice condition. Its got a perfect flex for speed, but has some good pop for tricks if you are into that

Purely Amazing
I started snowboarding a few months ago and I want to tell you that after trying almost 10 different boards none of them ever felt so amazing! This last weekend Feb 5, 2011 I went down a VERY ICY trail and had complete control, it felt like the board just knew what I wanted and where I wanted to go. Best board I have tried, I let my buddy who is just started snowboarding days ago and he spends more time on the ground than on his feet BUT when he got on my board he went all the way down the trail without falling once! he was soo inlove with the board he went and bought one for himself

Sapient rocks it
No a lot of riding around Green Bay, so I usually take long weekends in Northern WI and MN. This is a sweet board and not very expensive compared to other options out there. It has a nice edge and good flex and camber for high speed stability. It bites into the ice and holds well

Damn good wood.
The rail lock flex works, but it makes stomping those hard jumps pretty tough. Easy to ride

is this flexible?
A shopper on Dec 2, 2013
Best Answer: Yes the Sapient Evolution Snowboard flexes.

On a 1-10 scale (10 being stiff and 1 being soft), the Evolution has about a 3.5, which means that it's pretty soft.

I'm new to this. 22 years old. Size 10.5-11 shoe. 6ft. tall and 146 pounds. Would 151cm be okay for me?
A shopper on Feb 21, 2014
Best Answer: I honestly think that is a little too small for you. If you're going to buy a quality board of this performance level, I am assuming you are going to grow into this and then a 154/155 cm would be the smallest I would start with. If you go with a 151 cm to get you started, buy a cheap expendable board or even used.

I'm 13 130lbs and 5ft 7 should I get the 153cm or 151cm?
A shopper on Dec 10, 2013
Best Answer: 151 cm should be good you should measure your self and the board should be some were between your nose and chin. it all come down to what you perfurre I like shorter boards so I use my chin measurement

What is the width of this board? I wear size 13.5 boots. Thank you.
A shopper on Sep 1, 2013
Best Answer: It's pretty wide, as of the exact width i'm not 100% sure it was a present for my brother who wears a size 12 and his toes just barely get to the edge of the board itself. He however has a very wide stance to the point where he's at both ends of the alotted fittings so where the board is getting wider.

I'm 13 and I'm 5'2 and about 105 lbs. Should I get the 147 cm board?
A shopper on Dec 2, 2013
Best Answer: You'd fit better within the weight range of boards that are 135cm to 145cm. Could you ride the 147cm Sapient Evolution Snowboard because it's likely that you'll grow? Yes.

Trying to buy my son a snowboard. He is intermediate level and likes to do it all. So I was thinking an all mountain board. He is 5 feet 4 inches and 160 lbs. His boot size 9.5. Not sure what size board and binding to order. Can you help me with this?
Thank you,
Tammy
