Fun board!
This board has plenty of pop and play for hitting rollers and kickers. I am 6'2 180 and purchased the 157, surprisingly, it is still very stable and responsive at high speeds. The only problem with the angus is it does not have the magnatec edge so it doesn't grip on hard pack / ice quite as well as some of the more expensive Rossi's, but nevertheless this is a really solid board for the money.

If I purchase the Rossignol Angus Amptek for my son, first which size to I buy, he is six feet, one inch, and 165 lbs? Which binding do I select with this board and what boot do you recommend? He like the boa boots. Thanks
Diane C on Feb 5, 2015
Best Answer: He probably needs at least a 157. I am 5'10" 160lbs. and I think that my 155 is a good size for me.

You can select any bindings for this board except for Burton EST type bindings. When ordering bindings, choose the correct size (S,M,L) for his boot size.

Any boot will also fit with this board. I have K2's that have a boa and I really like them although they seem to loosen slightly after a couple runs. But I think that it is because they are one of the 1st gen Boa's that were released so if you buy newer ones I'm sure they have this issue fixed by now.

Hope this helps. BTW, I LOVE THIS BOARD!

do you know what BASE BEVEL this board has?
A shopper on Nov 6, 2013
Best Answer: Wow, great answers guys.

Rossignol has been one of the few brands to consistently stone bevel their boards, even the cheaper entry level models. I couldn't find any proof, but I'm almost sure that this board was stone beveled and not belt sanded like most cheaper boards these days.

Does this have milled edges like the Rocknrolla?
Dale S on Dec 30, 2015
Best Answer: Hello Dale S, the Angus Amptek does not have Roller Technology. If you want an Angus that has it, the Angus Magtek features Roller. Thank you.

Hi. I live in Munich , Germany and I am trying to get this snowboard in 157cm since 2013. How would it be possible to get it shipped over here?? Thanks
Ioannis K on Feb 19, 2015
Best Answer: Good Day!
We are really not allowed to ship Rossignol's products internationally... for that you would need to contact Rossignol in France. As this is an older board you can try contacting our Sales Specialists to see if there is some way to get you this board 1 (800) 409-7669. If you have Family or friends in the U.S. you could route it through them too.
